Are you planning a bachelorette party or are you in need of some party games?
As a frequent flyer bridesmaid and two-time maid of honor, I have had my fair share in planning pre-wedding celebrations. Obviously, the vibe of the party (or parties if you are celebrating for an entire weekend!) changes depending on the bride and guests in attendance, but I have found a handful of game and activity ideas that will be sure to please any crowd!
I was going to wait until next week to post these (and I could definitely think of another post’s worth of ideas), but I wanted to go ahead and share the following bachelorette party game ideas with you after receiving a request for ideas needed for the weekend.
Shout out to the brides, bridesmaids, and party planners out there. Enjoy!
• Post-it note memory game
This one doesn’t require any preparation and is a great way to break the ice and get to know a little bit more about everyone attending the party.
You can use Post-it notes or even flashcards.
Give everyone a Post-it (or two if the party is small) and a pen. Then ask each guest to write down a sweet, funny, embarrassing, or even drunken memory they have of the bride. When everyone is finished, place all the notes on a wall or in the center of the room for the bride to read one at a time. As she reads them out loud, she has to explain the story to the rest of the group!
The best part about this game is that all of the notes can be taken home or scrapbooked as a keepsake for the bride.
• “How Well Do You Know the Bride?”
This is a fun game that gives everyone a chance to see how well they know the bride-to-be. Have the guest of honor fill out her answers to a sheet of questions sometime before the party. Print enough copies all of the guests and give everyone five minutes to fill out the answers.
You can download and print the PDF here!
After taking the quiz, have the maid of honor or a bridesmaid read the bride’s answers aloud. Each correct answer counts as one point and the highest score wins!
• panty party game
A lot of bachelorette parties call for bringing lingerie as gifts. Here is one way to make opening the gifts an interesting game for everyone!
Tell each guest to bring either a pair of gift wrapped panties (or set of lingerie) for the bride. Put all of the gifts in the middle of the room and have the bride open them one by one. Once all are opened, have her guess who brought what. For each answer she gets wrong, she has to do an embarrassing task or take a drink!
• “Dare To Do It” bachelorette party activity cards
You can find this deck of bachelorette party activity cards at Party City or order them .
You can have the entire bachelorette party participate in this one or save the dares on the cards just for the bride. Challenge her to do embarrassing tasks throughout the night and give her a point goal to hit by the end of the night. If you decide to make it a challenge for the party, whoever earns the most points wins. You can even add your own dares on the blank cards!
• scavenger hunt
If you’re not into the cards, you can create your own scavenger hunt for the bachelorette to check off as the night goes on.
Carry it with you or create one you can place around the bride-to-be’s neck!
Sample example tasks include:
– Find a guy with the same name as the groom.
– Use the men’s bathroom.
– Do a cartwheel.
– Make a veil out of toilet paper.
– Find another bachelorette.
– Sing a song in the middle of the bar.
– Get a picture with a cop!
• Junk In The Trunk
This game was originally featured as a challenge on the television show Minute To Win It.
You’ll need to create two contraptions that consists of a tissue box filled with ping pong balls. Attach it to some kind of belt that you can tie or fasten around your waste and shake all the balls out as quickly as possible.
What you need:
2 rectangle empty tissue boxes (if you want to make it harder, don’t cut all of the plastic out of the middle)
20 ping pong balls (place 10 in each box)
2 canvas belts or some kind of elastic or ribbon you can tie around your hips
scissors (to cut slits in the box and plastic center)
Pair people to play each other in rounds or have one guest at a time challenge the bride. The player who gets all of the balls out of the box in the shortest amount of time wins! (Demo)
• light up rings
These are an easy accessory to pick up that always turn into a hit for the party!
I found a set of white for guests and a pink for the bachelorette at Party City, and you can also find them online and . They’re fun to wear but also very useful for keeping tabs on the whereabouts of all the girls in crowded places.
I’ve even used them as signals before. If someone is bothering you or you need help getting out of an undesirable situation (hello creepers), turn your ring on as a bat signal!
*Wee woo wee woo*
• “Kiss the Stud”
You can find this activity at Party City or it.
The kit comes with a blindfold and 12 kiss stickers. Write each player’s name on a sticker.
One by one, blindfold each guest and spin them around three times. Hand them the kiss sticker with their name and point them in the direction of the poster. The point of the game is to stick the kiss to the appropriate part of the male cartoon figure – wherever that may be! 😉
Make it even harder by telling them they can’t feel around for other stickers! Hilarious.
Other ideas for making your next bachelorette party one to remember:
- create a mixed CD of girly party songs for each guest to take home
- bachelorette party tattoos
- mugs or tumblers
order this customized bride wine glass
- bridal party tanks or tees
(These are from my wedding! DIY alert – a friend of mine designed the logos then I had them printed on tanks)
- boas, streamers, and signs to decorate
- coordinating colors
Congratulations to all the brides-to-be reading this and good luck to everyone planning a special celebration of their own.
Have fun!

I’m helping a friend plan her sisters bachelorette party and this looks great from top to bottom. I like the “buy me a drink tattoo”, very handy I can imagine 😉

Like a basic principle, progressive jackpots can be obtained for arms which can be
excellent.
