Down to the Holiday Wire

Gooooood Morning! It’s a busy one over here at the Hesington household.

Preparing for the holidays gets so crazy! We do not even have children to shop for and I feel like I am going bonkers.  How do you mommies and daddies do it?

This morning, I prepared the standard breakfast I have been eating for a straight week.  That is what happens when a trip to the grocery store keeps getting put lower and lower on the to-do list.  No worries though, I can never get enough of turkey, spinach, and cheese scrambled into my egg whites.

Oh, and a coffee the size of my head.

Every morning without fail!

Gotta fuel up for a full day of squeezing in Christmas cards.  Yes… I am still working on them.

It is starting to take me back to save the date and wedding invitation days.  Every time I do a massive addressing session (which is really only three times now) I think “I should really input these into the computer so I can print off labels.”

Then I continue to write them by hand. Maybe one day…

Meanwhile, I have made about three trips to the post office this week.  Lines through the door are a normal occurrence whenever I go, so I just clear at least a half an hour ahead of time to wait in it.

We have a variety of extra stamps laying around in different amounts.  Some 42¢ some 44¢, so I keep making returns when I find more and need the equivalent 1¢ or 3¢ stamps to make up the difference.

Did you know the price is going up to 46¢ for a standard letter in the U.S. starting January?  Don’t worry… I have enough 1¢ stamps for all!

I feel like I have abandoned social media lately!  I get on the computer and basically just have enough time to blog.  No time to interact, strictly type and publish.  I miss you guys!

Looks like someone else misses my attention too…

Thank goodness for Subway! I have been living there lately.  Lunch and dinner for the past few days have been split by my favorite foot long turkey and American cheese on wheat loaded with veggies.

A few of you who saw this photo on Instagram questioned my meat (or lack there of).  It is turkey and it is on there, my friends!

Unfortunately, I do not think working out today is in the cards for me.  Instead, I need to run off and meet with a potential new blogging opportunity, print out more supplies for more cards, get my eyebrows threaded (which has been a task up here… let me tell you!), finish the Christmas cards (yeah right), and get ready for practice tonight.

I know all of you are just as busy!
