Hi friends! Happy Friday!
This week was a weird one. Monday consisted of traveling home and recovering from a whirlwind of a trip before work, and then the majority of our Wednesday night and Thursday was spent cooped up inside, thanks to a brief snowpocalypse. Somehow or another, we beat the odds and made it to Friday. Who’s excited?
Scott and I have the entire weekend ahead planned out for us, which I can’t say I’m completely on board with … but I will say, however, that I am really looking forward to catching up with friends and enjoying some time out and about.
As usual, today we are discussing all the things we’ve been loving this week with Friday Favorites. If you are a blogger, make sure to look for the blue Inlinkz button at the bottom and link up your own #FFavorites posts, too.
Psst! There may or may not also be a surprise giveaway at the end … Woo!
Friday Favorites #130: Week of 2/26
• HUDSON + BLEECKER toiletry travel set
I received this HUDSON+BLEECKER Labyrinth Onyx Travel Trio set in my September last year. I have been using (and loving!) the clear toiletry bag ever since, and just remembered that I have two accompanied travel bags for shoes and delicates a few weeks ago.
They’ve been so great for traveling! I have been all about only taking a carry-on on trips lately, so I appreciate the easy-to-organize practicality. Plus, the clear pouch is the perfect (regulated) size to use and display 3 oz. liquids through airport security checks. It’s so much better than having to squeeze everything into a plastic Ziploc bag.
If you’re in the market for a great travel set for toiletries, I highly recommend this one.

• Blue Apron recipe delivery service
I had the pleasure of working with Blue Apron to cook gourmet meals at home last year, and I thought it was one of the best things ever.
This service is great for anyone looking to snap out of a dinner rut or cut back on ordering take out. With just three recipes, Blue Apron brought me to a new level of cooking by introducing new ingredients and cooking techniques I would have never tried on my own.
You are responsible for assembling the recipes, but all of the ingredients (and directions) are delivered right to your doorstep in a refrigerated box. It’s becoming a very popular service (especially in big city areas), and I was so happy to see that my friend Lauren ordered a special shipment just for Scott and I while we visited her in New York City.
White Pizza with Baked Eggs & Arugula Salad
I haven’t ordered another shipment at home yet, and I couldn’t tell you why. We’re on the brink of gearing up for another move, so I guess I’ll have to wait … but I’m really looking forward to subscribing to the service again in the near future!
• Bitmoji
Okay … I think I’m a little late to the party on this one, but do any of you use Bitmoji? It’s an app that creates your own personal emoji with funny sayings and images.
I have received text messages in the past with bitmojis and always thought they were funny, but it wasn’t until our recent weekend in New York when my love for them fully exploded. It’s free to download and comes bundled with an entire bitmoji keyboard that you can access on a regular basis. I can’t stop using them. Hilarious.
• Harney & Sons tea
I had never seen Harney & Sons fine teas before my friend Kelley introduced them to us. She sent over two tins (Green Tea with Coconut and ), and I have already fallen hard for the brand.
I seriously can’t get enough of the sachets. The (decaf and caffeinated) flavors are so fresh and strong! Also pictured is an adorable Love Today mug, a gift from Kelley as well. I love, love, love it, but can’t find anything similar online. (Sorry!) If I had to guess, I would say she purchased it (along with the teas) at . Thanks, girl!
• sun after the (snow) storm
After an unusually warm weekend, winter showed it’s frigid face again this week. Although I went running with Roadie in a comfortable 40 degrees on Tuesday, it started heavily snowing by Wednesday morning. And then it turned into a blizzard.
I had a lot of cancelations at work halfway through the day and then most schools and offices were closed on Thursday. It was intense! By yesterday afternoon, however, the snow stopped falling and there was a sunny calm in the air.
I love when the sun peeks out and glistens on the snow. It’s truly beautiful! It’s supposed to get back up to the 40s and 50s this weekend. Here’s hoping those predictions are right …
• Tervis tumbler giveaway
If you have followed along in this blogging journey for a bit then you already know about my outspoken love for Tervis tumblers. I have featured a variety of different styles and designs, and our personal collection has grown quite a bit, thanks to our friend who works at the corporate offices. (Hi, Rusty!)
Today I am excited to share some of the tumbler love and offer two 16 or 24 oz. tumblers of your choice as a giveaway for you! They might just be the best plastic cups, water bottles, mugs, and to-go insulated beverage containers out there.
I love the clear, colorful, and monogramed designs, but I can’t help but to be drawn to the new designs and brand collaborations. If I were to have my pick of tumblers, I might go for a set from the new Salt Life line …
Or maybe a couple of tumblers from the Simply Southern line …
Or, possibly the Guy Harvey line …
There’s just so many options!
To enter, simply leave a comment on this post and enter one additional entry into Rafflecopter.
You have until Midnight Monday, February 29th E.S.T to enter the giveaway. The winner will be announced first thing Tuesday Morning on March 1st. (<- Holy moly are we there already? Wow.)
Good luck, and thank you, Tervis!

This Minnesota girl’s Tervis collection is far outnumbered by her Ohio husband’s. I’d definitely go for more Minnesota sports-themed cups!
