I’m sorry, are we already into the week of 9 something? When did that happen? The high number inevitably comes along with the month of September, I suppose.

Want me to really freak you out? Halloween is next month. Like… next month. I hope you’re ready for costumes and candy corn!

I am currently in the middle of reading The Gifts of Imperfection by Brene Brown for a monthly book club I joined over the summer.

I have had a membership to Massage Envy since April and have been a total of two times, as of yesterday. Why? I honestly couldn’t tell you.

With a decent amount of credit towards my account, I cashed enough in to get a two hour massage yesterday! Boy was it needed. I almost felt bad scheduling that long of a session, but I was reassured that they happen all the time and it really helped get out the majority of the knots and kinks that have been building up.

I really need to make a point to get back on the scheduling regular massages train. It’s important and I already feel so much better!

• The Katy Perry Part of Me Movie

Okay. Don’t poke fun at me for wanting to watch this. I heard it was really good and shows her unexpected backstory with the triumph of her drive after going through a rough personal life.

The film shows how much hard work went into her first world tour and I think so highly of her after seeing how much she cares about her fans, especially in the meet and greets. She has such a creative mind and isn’t afraid to do her own thing. Gotta love that!

  12. Ohh that book sounds like something I definitely need to read! I struggle with being a perfectionist and holding myself to such high standards and could really stand to work on that! I just added it to my Wish List! And haha, I actually saw the Katy Perry movie too! I’d heard similar things and thought it was really interesting seeing the backstage stuff that artists have to put aside when they go out on stage! And those flowers are so pretty! You deserve them after all the snow you dealt with last year!
