Since there have been a lot of new faces this week, I wanted to take a minute to reintroduce Friday Favorites. For the last seventy-six (whoa!) weeks, I have shared what I have been loving lately through a favorites series and link-up every Friday. Here, I take a look back at the week and share new finds, informative articles, or just things that make me smile!

• statement necklaces
I’m sure I have featured each of these more than once on the blog before, but in general, I have been loving statement necklaces over the past couple of weeks.
(The left two are from Stitch Fix, and the right one is from Hearts.)
Colorful, bulky necklaces like these can dress a plain shirt or dress up in a matter of seconds. I love pairing them with button-up long sleeve dress shirts, maxi dresses, and even a black romper and heels for a night out!

I received this fun little diddy in a care package from Cat’s Pride as part of a campaign I’m working on. Who knew this complimentary Cat Dancer toy would bring such joy to the girls?
Stay tuned for a funny video montage coming soon, but for now, just know it’s an amazing toy for under $2. Who knew?
• Random Acts of Kindness Day (February 17th)
Have you ever heard of or tried KIND bars?
(Throwback to my dancing days. Oh, hey tights and boots.)
I have been a fan of their snack bars for a while, but I am even more excited about what their company is doing to spread the love. Next week, the KIND team will be spreading kindness across Detroit to celebrate Random Acts of Kindness Day!
An integral part of the KIND’s DNA is collaborating with the community to help make the world a little kinder. Next Tuesday, the KIND team will perform 24 acts of kindness, one to represent each hour of the day. These acts will range from buying coffee for everyone in line at Starbucks in Royal Oak and Biggby Coffee in Birmingham, Berkley, and Ferndale to dropping off KIND bars to the Detroit Fire Department, and will take place throughout the city from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
How awesome is that? In honor of Random Acts of Kindness Day, I challenge you to commit to even one random act of kindness. If you need some ideas of how to spread the love, try donating something you really love to charity, paying a fee for the car behind you at the toll booth, or buying a coffee for the car behind you at a breakfast drive-thru!
• new Amy’s burrito flavor
Y’all know I love me some Amy’s burritos. While I was restocking this week, I noticed a brand new flavor on the freezer shelves!
That’s right. Gluten-free black beans & quinoa. It’s pretty much the best idea ever. If you happen to see it, please buy and try it.
• soup over noodles
Speaking of Amy’s (you’d think I was being paid to say this by now… nope… I’m just that obsessed), I can’t get enough of their soups over noodles this week. I finally captured it and shared my new love for the easiest lunch ever on Instagram a few days ago.
Keeping the tradition going strong, I had another version of soup over noodles last night for dinner. This time, I went for Progresso Light Chicken Corn Chowder over whole wheat spaghetti.
Yeah, that was pretty delicious too. As long as this freezing weather keeps on keepin’ on, I have a feeling that soup over noodles will continue to dominate in our household.
• The return of Grey’s Anatomy & Scandal (#TGIT)
Okay, I still haven’t seen a full episode of How To Get Away With Murder, but I can vouch for Grey’s Anatomy and Scandal.
For those of you who haven’t gotten into the line-up yet, here’s a fun video highlighting the leading ladies of #TGIT. I really did miss the drama during the weeks in December and January that #TGIT took a hiatus. There aren’t many television shows I like to watch on a regular basis, but this group of shows back-to-back is where it’s at. One of these days I’ll actually get to the third one. So good!
• new (old) iPhone case
In need of a new iPhone case (my previous one cracked… boo!), I dug around my closet and found one I picked up at least six months ago from Five Below. Seriously. Five dollars for this adorable polka dot Pink Chandelier Mary Beth case?
Such a great deal! That store is amazing.

This bright bunch of 16 oz. tumblers has been what I gravitate towards for almost anything from water throughout the day to milk before bed every single day. I absolutely love them all!
I am also a huge fan of their water bottles. I own the “H” initial bottle as well as a Detroit Pistons bottle, and they both continuously rotate in and out of our dishwasher. I literally use one of them almost every day, and have been ordering the same ones as gifts for friends too.
I love that they are insulated, keep warm beverages warm, cool beverages cool, and feature a spill-proof flip-up top. Rusty asked if I would be interested in giving away a couple of my favorite tumblers to you, so I happily jumped on board!

I love taking iced coffee with me in the summer ( I used to do this all the time in college). Now, I always have a bottle with me at my desk job. A constant reminder to drink more water!
Love Tervis! We used to have 2 – one that said “Captain” and the other said “First Mate.” Not sure where they are now! My favorite beverage to go is coffee!!!

Definitely water if it’s a cold drink…in winter I feel like I just don’t drink enough, so having water bottles around is an absolute necessity to encourage me to drink. For warm drinks, I’m obsessed with naturally flavored teas!

Oh you must watch How to Get Away with Murder, especially if you like Scandal! I enjoy both every Thursday night. And my newest obsession is The Blacklist. SO GOOD! I’ve watched the first season on Netflix. I can’t wait to see what the cat toy joy brings! I love cats, I mean REALLY love cats. I have one cat now named Patch and he’s a character. I’d say my favorite beverage to take on the go lately is hot chocolate.
