I didn’t think I was going to post anything today.
The last 24 hours have been really tough for both Scott and I, which doesn’t exactly make you want to share your feelings publicly. But, in this case… I want to. And I need to.
Over the past few days, we have learned of two friends who have passed unexpectedly. Although I didn’t personally know one of them, the other has been a light and inspiration in my life as well as to thousands of others.
There is really no way to put into words how kind, sweet, and amazing of a soul Gia Allemand has been to everyone she knew.
Before even knowing anything about her, I remember telling my manager at my barre studio how I had the most adorable student in class. She had great technique, gorgeous hair, and seemed to enjoy her workouts just as much as I did. Any correction I gave was taken with a smile, and her positive energy beamed to everyone around her.
The next time I had her in class, I made a mental note of her name and finally realized why she looked so familiar.
Unlike the majority reading this, I have never watched a full episode of The Bachelor. I knew her boyfriend through his friendship with Scott, and realized I had met her crossing paths a few times at events. Even so, and as someone who has a celebrity title attached to them, I never saw her that way. To me, she was so much more than “that girl.”
She was Gia. Fun loving, caring, giving, Christian, laughing, incredible Gia.
Today, my heart is heavy aching for her, Ryan, and their families.
She was a light in this world, and nothing I can write would do the memory of her justice. Although I am extremely saddened, I am moving forward and remembering her for the humble joy she was. She did everything in love and wanted to share it with everyone.
If prayer is something you practice, please keep all of those who were close to her in yours. Rest in God’s arms sweet, beautiful Gia.

So sorry for your loss. <3 Thinking about you and her family.
I just lost a friend as well, and my heart has been heavy ever since, it's not something that's even imaginable, even after it's happened. It still is taking me a lot to process.
Sending thoughts to you!
