It’s that time of year again!
Is your mailbox filling up with holiday cards and well wishes from loved ones?
I received the first of our holiday cards from friends right around Thanksgiving. Impressive, right? While I’ve never been that ahead of the game, I do make a point to create and order our holiday cards by the first week of December each year.
Scott and I have never been traditionalists, and we always like to tell a story with our cards. This gives us a chance to catch our friends and family up on what we’ve been up to, and it’s been our version of a tradition to include some type of timeline on the back. You can check out the last few years of cards here, here, and here (<- 2013 throwback)!
Some of you might remember that I ordered our cards from last year. (It’s a great site for personalized stationary, cards, gifts, art, party necessities, home decorations, and more!)
I spent a lot of time creating my own template graphic for a timeline of events that took place throughout the year in 2016, so I was happy to see that they have similar pre-made templates to choose from this year. How cute are these?
While being able to quickly enter our highlights into one of those layouts was tempting, Scott and I wanted to do something different this year. After all, we do have some exciting happenings in the works – Baby Hesington will be arriving March 2018!
Our good friend, Rusty, helped us create a couple of images that resembles the birth of Christ, and then the birth of Baby H. If you look close enough, you might notice that the barn animals in the manger scene in 0 B.C. resemble our very own Aspen, Cali, and Roadie in 2018 A.D. We thought they turned out adorable, so we had to include the joy of these photos this year!
It’s always tricky to just choose one card to customize, as I love the pages and pages of them. But, as soon as I saw the “More and Merrier” phrase on the front of these paired with the fold over card option, I found our 2018 card. I was drawn to the storyline photo layout that enabled me to easily upload four different pictures with text below each one.
I started an address book last year, so I took a little bit of time updating the addresses and recipients to include new friends that we’ve made this year. By the way, the Address Assistant is a wonderful tool that I turn to for addresses all year long. As soon as you have everyone entered, you can choose to pre-address the cards with their names and addresses to be printed on the envelopes for free!
It costs a bit extra to print return addresses, so that’s where my comes into play. I love this little guy, but if you’re looking to save some time and get your cards out as soon as possible, you can choose to include this option as well as customized stamps, too!
They have quite a variety of holiday, announcement, and customizable cards from which to choose … and so much more.
I simply adore their collection of lines.
Also, thedesigns … *swoon*
Their and save the date options are too cute, and I have always been extremely happy with the turn around time on my orders. Speaking of …

Holiday & New Years Cards
One year, Scott and I did “Cheers” New Years Cards instead of holiday cards. We weren’t realistically going to get holiday cards in the mail before Christmas, so we themed out our cards to represent the New Year with a previous year-in-review on the back. We got a lot of compliments on the idea!
If you’re still stuck on holiday cards, you can get yours by Tuesday, 12/19 (excludes foil options) if you order by Saturday, 12/16 at 3 p.m. PT and choose Express Service and rush shipping. You can also order most gifts by Saturday, 12/16 at 3 p.m. PT with priority shipping to receive them by Christmas. Check out all of the delivery deadlines for more options!

I don’t know about you, but the next two weeks are jam packed with holiday parties, outings, and tasks before we ring in the New Year. Here’s to soaking in as much of the holiday cheer that we can in the midst of the craziness.
Wishing all of you the happiest of holidays!
xo

Oh my goodness, I love your card so much. What a special keepsake to have too. The graphics of baby Jesus and baby H plus the Bible verses gave me goosebumps. We are going the New Years route this year since we are announcing our pregnancy to most of our family and friends over the holidays and I wanted to use a bump pic.
