It’s Fridayyyy! Who is pumped for a morning treadmill workout? Oh good, that is exactly what I have for you… in just a minute.
First, I wanted to share a little healthy snacking motivation.

One Healthy Choice, Then Another.
I saw the top photo posted on Facebook a few days ago, and had to save it to share for later. Below are two of my power snacks (or lunch if you want to get technical) I enjoyed yesterday after a morning at the studio.
I really like that quote and thought. Getting used to eating a consistent, healthy diet is all about baby steps. If you aren’t used to eating clean, you might be a little disappointed to find out enjoying it doesn’t just happen over night.
Over the past few years, I have really grown to crave healthy food. I certainly know how to indulge in a sweet or treat every now and then, but more than anything my body craves a green salad and a fruit packed smoothie at least every other day. The trick to success in maintaining a healthy eating schedule is to start somewhere small.
Try incorporating one healthy meal – top to bottom – a day, then make it two, then make it three, then save your “cheat meals” solely for the weekend. Eventually, you won’t even miss the grease and loaded cheese. Promise.
2-Minute Change-Ups on the Treadmill
To top it off this morning, I figured I could jump start your weekend mojo with a new treadmill workout!
I created it before heading down to our condo’s gym last week, then revised the straight two minute intervals to incorporate a hard minute of high speed followed by a rest minute, two times.
Like always, please remember that every machine is different and so is everyone’s training level. If these speeds don’t work for you, feel free to change each number by 0.5, 1 or more either up or down.
If you try it out, let me know how it goes. Have a great weekend! 😀
Other Treadmill Workouts Include:
Minute on, Minute Off Intervals
6, 7, 8 Treadmill Interval Workout
Questions
• Do you maintain a consistent, healthy eating schedule? If so, what are some of your tips?
• Keep the treadmill workouts coming?
Since I like to run and the summer heat is brutal in Florida, I have spent my time away from barre classes on the treadmill. Since I have been teaching more, my body has been sore and I haven’t been able to do as many workouts from home, besides cardio. I’m hoping to change this soon and incorporate more variety into my workout routine!

I’ve tried your 6,7,8 Treadmill workout and sweat my booty off! Well done. I think you should keep ’em coming 🙂

Great, Tanya! So glad you got a good workout. Will do! 🙂
Ashley @ Sweat for Sweets
I’ve added this smoothie to my to-try list! Thanks! Also.. I’ve always been a pretty healthy eater & didn’t worry much about my weight, etc. My now I’m starting to realize that my metabolism is slowing down.. gah! My new philosophy is to indulge in sweets/treat foods only on weekends or special occasions during the week (like birthdays, dinners out, etc). Since I maintain an active lifestyle, I hope this will work for me!
