Good Morning!
It’s Friday and I thought it would be fun to share some songs I have really been enjoying recently to pump you up! I started sharing playlists with you back when I was training for my first half marathon. Putting them together gave me a little bit of extra motivation to get out there and run my little heart out, and think it might do the same for you too.

As most of you know, I have been doing the majority of my weights, toning and tightening exercises through barre classes. Teaching five days a week has almost taken over my need to go to the gym and lift, but you can catch me sneaking in a few machines and free weight exercises every now and then. What has been very complimentary to the fitness classes is cardio, specifically running.
Whenever I can dodge the blinding sun and the Florida Summer heat, I really do enjoy a good run outside. In fact, Scott and I went for a quick 2.7 miles last night around 9 p.m. We both had so much energy and wanted to put it to use.
Running outside did the trick, because after a shower and a smoothie we were both ready to turn in. Oh, and the smoothie? It was definitely of Scott’s better concoctions…

What kind of music gets you moving?
I am a fan of almost any kind of music. From country to dance to musicals, I love it all. For workouts, however, I like to listen to recent up-beat songs I hear on the radio. Every now and then I will include 80’s Music or a few other throw backs, but for the most party my workout playlists usually mirror what is out and popular at the moment.
