Hello, hello! It made me happy to see that a lot of you enjoyed taking a stroll down memory lane with me on Tuesday.
In case you missed it, I shared the Top 15 Food & Fitness Posts of 2015.
Today I thought it would be even more interesting to see which posts ranked in the overall top spots (minus recipes and fitness related posts). The following blog posts don’t fit into any specific category, and they cover some of my favorite highlights to date. Enjoy!
15. Thinking Out Loud Posts
It was surprising to see how much you guys like to read completely random rambles! Every so often, I participate in a Thursday link-up called Thinking Out Loud that is hosted by Amanda.
It’s a great way to catch up with you and chat. I think I’ll keep those on the docket next year.
14. Fashion Favorites Posts
Wow… it’s been eons since I featured one of these posts. Maybe I should get back to documenting them?
Every month or so, I used to feature my notable outfits and include links to pages where you might find similar items. By no means do I consider myself a fashionista, but it’s nice to share a good bargain buy from time to time.
13. Thirty Thoughts On Turning Thirty
I thought it would be fun to share a collection of thoughts going through my head that surrounds the idea of turning thirty this year. Naturally, I went with 30 of them.
And speaking of turning thirty this year…
12. 30th Birthday Surprise in New York City
(Part I, Part II, Part III, Part IV)
Scott surprised me with an epic trip to The Big Apple to see my best friend from middle school and celebrate me entering a new decade with a long weekend getaway! I heart NYC. It was such a fun trip!
11. The Struggle of Meal Planning Is Real
Earlier this year, I shared why I’m not too great at planning meals and asked you guys to share your best meal prepping and planning tips. It’s funny that my struggle post ended up getting more clicks than the results (below), so feel free to read both if you’d like.
10. LOTS Of Wedding Posts
For whatever reason, the Unity Ceremonies recap has become the most popular!
It’s exciting to see wedding posts pop up every now and then, however, please keep in mind that my writing style is very different in them. Back then I was blogging to journal to my friends and family, and there might be an over-abundance of capitalized words and exclamation points.
You’ve been warned. 😉
9. Why I Choose To Eat (Mostly) Gluten-Free
By no means to I avoid meals like pizzas or pastas, but if there is a gluten-free option available, I will usually pick it 9 times out of 10. This post explains why, and it was nice to see that a lot of you can relate.
8. Katie’s Savannah Bachelorette Party
I had a blast with my girlfriends celebrating Katie, the (then) bride-to-be during her Bachelorette Party weekend in Savannah. I loved seeing this one pop up to reminisce about all of that quality girl time!
(In case you missed it, there’s also a Part II.)
7. 10 Things That Will Hold You Back From Being Happy
Happiness isn’t just a choice, it’s your choice. If you are guilty of points mentioned in this post (and, believe me, I have been there too!), break them now before they become habits.
Only you can choose the path towards your own happiness!
6. NBA Dancer Auditions: Food & Fitness Guide
I loved sharing this short series, and there’s a lot more information to get to!
Check out my personal tips to help those looking to prepare for a professional sports dancer/cheerleader audition, or even those wanting to slim down for a major event.
5. When Life Hands You Lemons, You Blog About It
Nobody necessarily wants to read about the not-so awesome stuff going on in life, but there comes a point where truth needs to be spoken.
I very much appreciate all of the love and support I got on this post. You guys are seriously the best. <3
4. To My Husband On Our Four Year Anniversary
It melts my heart to see the one of the biggest posts of the year going out to my other half!
On our wedding anniversary this year, I shared a personal letter to Scott as a public love letter. Maybe I’m an over-sharer? Even so, he’s always put up with broadcasting our lives on the interwebs and I’m so thankful for him.
3. DIY Wedding Anniversary Gift
Since the traditional 1 Year Wedding Anniversary Gift is given in the form of paper, I wanted to make a DIY present from the heart. This frame (an under $20 project) features lyrics from the song we used from our first dance.
This post goes through a step-by-step tutorial on how I created it using Microsoft Word.
2. Top 20 Photoshoot Tips & Tricks
Spending six years dancing professionally in the NBA took me through plenty of photo shoots, calendar shoots, and special events where I had to look my very best.

1. Stitch Fix Breakdowns
For whatever reason, Stitch Fix has been extremely popular around here, specifically this one that came in third overall!
For over a year, I received a box from Stitch Fix (<- affiliate link), which is an online styling service I have blogged about several times. For those of you who haven’t heard of it, you can read more about how it all works here.
I guess that wraps things up for 2015! Can you believe it?

You’re so sweet, Julia. Thank you! It can be tricky to be fashionable when you wear a winter coat 6 months of the year… lol. Thank you so much for reading and supporting this blog! I always love reading your comments. Happy 2016 to you!
Will you please come to Chicago and be my personal shopper/stylist? I have no idea what to wear if it doesn’t involved athletic wear. 😉 (It’s a good thing I have the jobs I do!) Hope you have a great New Year’s Eve/Day and an awesome 2016, Heather!
