It’s Tuesday after a long holiday weekend, and if you are feeling anything like me today it’s more than a little sluggish.
I don’t know if it was the craziness of last week’s game schedule topped with Thanksgiving and all of the yummy (carb loaded and sugary) food that goes with it or what, but I am just not feeling myself this week. I am doing my best to get as much rest as I can while getting my eating and workouts back on track so I can hopefully kick whatever is trying to take over this body of mine. Fingers crossed!
Speaking of kicks… remember when I previously wrote about how you can design your own shoes (<- make sure to read about the process if you missed it!) on Reebok’s website? I was given the opportunity to select a pair to custom design as part of my partnership with them and was so excited to see them arrive at my doorstep yesterday!
After at least an hour of going back and forth on the design (I am horribly indecisive), I came up with a Detroit Pistons type of color scheme, complete with a customized initialed back.
Pretty darn accurate, right?
Excited to give them a go, I wore them to practice last night which also included a workout of running stadium stairs, walking lunges and core exercises. By far, the CrossFit Nano Speed sneakers have been my favorite versatile workout shoe I have tried thus far.
