Hi friends! I’m so glad you guys liked Tuesday’s Pilates inspired workout.
I am really looking forward to incorporating more Pilates and barre moves into my circuits and hope to move back into creating videos and such that include me actually doing the demonstrations in the future.
For now, I gathered up three rounds of exercises I have previously featured on the blog. I purposely wanted to do so in order to get you familiar with some of my favorite go-to exercises you’ll surely see again.
Complete each circuit round twice, consecutively, then take a quick rest and grab water in-between each section!
25 Min. At-Home Circuit Workout
All you really need for this workout is a clock (or cell phone stopwatch) and a set of free weights. I used tens and dropped to one to hold in the center for the side lunge + lifts. Oh, and just for fun, I skipped the sneakers and substituted grippy yoga/barre socks.
Even on carpet, they really do rock!
If you aren’t fully familiar or comfortable with all of the workout exercises, please see the video demonstrations linked below for guidance.

*Always remember to listen to your body and modify the exercises as needed. Also, keep in mind that I post what works best for me, but that might not be the right type of exercises for you.
*Please use the video references as a guide and listen for tips on form. I always recommend consulting a doctor before drastically changing up your current fitness routine!
New Fruity Smoothie
After the workout, I hopped in the shower and craved something light and refreshing when I got out. Wanting to try something new, I threw a fantastic combination of ingredients into the blender.
Frozen spinach, purple grapes (a lot of them!), a banana, and a nectarine.
I have never used a nectarine in smoothies before, and I rarely use grapes. It may look questionable, but I assure you that it is actually one the best tasting sweet and fruity smoothies I’ve made yet!
I hope you all have a great start to your day. I have a busy one planned, but hope to check back in later with a reader requested post all about “me” time. Happy Thursday!
Question of the Morning
• What is a new ingredient addition to smoothies you’ve been loving?
Erin @ Her Heartland Soul
I really want to try an avocado in a smoothie! But I never have!
Heather
I’ve done it a couple of times, but I need to start adding it frequently! So good and makes it extra creamy 🙂
Elsie@SharingHealthiness
Will definitely try this workout!!! Lately I have been adding loads of finely chopped nuts. I prefer my smoothies to be thick in consistency and not very liquid so after I blend everything I drop in the nuts give it a small turn and then enjoy the crunchiness!
Heather
That’s a great suggestion! I was just thinking about adding chopped almonds to yogurt, a smoothie would be even better… 😉
Chelsea @ A Fit LittleOne
Grapes and Nectarine?? That is pure genius!! And sounds so so good. I love adding my raw lemon ice cream to blueberry smoothies!! Adds the perfect tang to it!
Heather
Very sweet. And I love that idea to add lemon!
Heather @fitncookies
This looks like a fantastic workout! I can’t wait to give it a try. I never thought to add grapes to a smoothie but it sounds so good!
Heather
I never do either… definitely give it a try!
Rachel @ Blonde with a Chanse
Yum that smoothie sounds good 🙂 I am so glad you posted this workout because I am going to be working out quite a bit from now on 🙂 Also, I don’t know if it is just my computer, but your “pin it” button wouldn’t work for me 🙁
Heather
Oh no! Sorry about that. I just fixed the code… it should be working now!
