While I was compensated to write a post about JCP’s Active Lifestyle products, all opinions remain my own. Thank you for your support, and I hope you enjoy the giveaway!
As a personal trainer and healthy lifestyle blogger, it’s a rare occasion that I’m not living in activewear. I know I’m not alone!
Most women I know are on the lookout for fitness clothing that looks good, feels good, and can be worn inside and outside the gym. While wearing yoga pants to a workout class is the main objective in purchasing activewear, an increase in the social acceptance to wear leggings as pants in recent years has really expanded the brands and inventory available.
While I love the fabrics and quality found in products from fancy high-priced brands, I’m the type of shopper who looks and buys those quality products at reasonable prices. Today I am thrilled to be teaming up with JCPenney to share a look into their very own active lifestyle section.
JCPenney is known to many as a department store that offers great savings on furniture, home decorations, men’s and women’s clothing, shoes, and jewelry… but have you ever checked out their activewear?
With popular brands like Xersion, Nike, PUMA, and Adidas, you’re bound to find something (or probably a lot of somethings) you’ll love at price points that won’t empty your wallet. As part of this campaign, I was given $200 to spend at the store, and it was a challenge to narrow down what to purchase.
JCPenney has a great selection of activewear for men, women, and children. After about an hour of browsing the entire store, I came home with a lot more than I expected to!
All of the clothing I selected was on sale for 20% off of $40 or less per piece!
I got the high-low sweatshirt for $17.99 and it couldn’t be more comfortable. The Xersion fitted legging is a fantastic mix of materials including cotton, polyester, and spandex, which makes it hard for me to ever take them off.
I am loving all of the Nike pieces I selected, too. The tank and the sports bra are dri-fit (sweat-wicking) materials and feel extremely lightweight. I love the mesh detail of the top, and the reflective details are great for sunrise or sunset runs. Also, the shoes have been my number one go-to while training at the gym.
They match my all black work attire and provide just as much style as they do comfort.
JCPenney always has great sales going on in the store and online. If you’re not looking for fitness wear, more products in the active lifestyle line include sport watches, Nutribullet blenders, intimates, socks, and cover ups like hoodies, jackets, and sweats.
On top of brands you probably already recognize like Nike, Adidas, PUMA, and Reebok, Xersion is their largest brand that features pieces in regular, petite, tall, and plus sizes. Made For Life is geared towards a slightly older audience with a variety of leisure and loungewear.
While I was in line to check out, I was happy with my purchases and impressed looking down at everything in my hands to buy with my $200 gift card. In fact, my grand total after tax was $187! That sure beats dropping over $100 on a pair of leggings, right?
Now onto the good stuff…
