Double the Fun

It is still gloomy and rainy weather over here, but that has not stopped my productive mood today!

This morning has been filled with online purchases.  While getting some things for the house, I have also had some fun shopping for a few weddings, showers, and birthdays coming up.  As much as I love shopping for clothes in stores, I do not enjoy buying presents for others in person… especially if it is off a registry.

Today I learned something pretty cool.  When ordering online, if you call a nearby store location (and order it through them), and they happen to be out of an item you want to purchase, they will usually ship it to you for free.  Hey… it’s worth a shot right?  Today I received free shipping on all three items purchased from Buy Buy Baby AND used an online 20% OFF coupon.

Sidenote: Did you know you can also use Bed, Bath & Beyond coupons there? I feel like you could take those things anywhere! 😉

Desk Lunch

Lunch came before I knew it, and I did not want to slow down by harping on it, so I decided on a desk lunch to enjoy while typing up this post!

Similar to the salad featured in yesterday’s WIAW lunch, I threw any prepped vegetable I could find into the last bit of my baby spinach container.

(I love when it works out that way. No dishes!)

Today’s salad ingredients included:

• fresh baby spinach mix

• sliced tomatoes

• sliced cucumbers

• sliced mushrooms

• sliced avocado

• broccoli slaw mix (found in the salad section of your grocery store)

• sunflower seeds

• black AND green olives (because clearly, I have an obsession)

• Atheno’s Tomato & Basil feta cheese

• MorningStar Farms Spicy Black Bean Veggie Burger

• Newman’s Own Lite Raspberry & Walnut dressing

Delicious.

I also broke into a new product to me by Designer Whey.  The company sent me a box full of goodies to review, I am absolutely loving everything so far!

Adding 10g of protein to my water was as easy as 1, 2, shake with this Protein 2GO Lemonade Drink Mix.

I will be sure to fill you in on the rest of the products in a full review later this month.

Well, with that I need to get outta here and head over to the vets!  I have two separate appointments booked today: one for Mr. Roadie (annual check-up) and one for the girls (check-up and shots).  I am sure the rest of the afternoon will be quite eventful.

Double the vet visits, double the fun.
