Good morning and Happy Friday!
For those of you who are new around here and found me through meeting at the IDEA World Fitness Convention and BlogFest, welcome! I have been thoroughly enjoying my time in Anaheim, California and can’t wait to kick off another fun-filled day of events.
Getting right to business around here, let’s move on to this week’s edition of Friday Favorites. As always, I invite you to share some things you have been loving at the bottom via the comments section and link up tool!
• Victoria’s Secret PINK body mists
A couple of weeks ago, I was checking out at Victoria’s Secret and found a new scent. I love perfume, but for every day running errands and in and out of the gym wear, I prefer body sprays and this blue Wild & Breezy bottle completed my set!
This might make me sound ridiculous, but I keep one in my purse, one in my gym bag, one on my bathroom counter, and one in the car and constantly rotate them.
I don’t know why I always forget about the tea store Teavana! Every time I find one in a shopping mall or airport I try the samples and have to go in the store and get something. Everything is so flavorful.
On my layover in Dallas on Wednesday, I wanted to try something different and thought the chocolate chai tea sounded good. Eh… it wasn’t the best. Maybe I should just stick to the herbal flavors, but overall my trip to the store reminded me that I need to visit way more frequently!
• Sweet Potato & Sea Salt Triscuits
You guys have got to try these. Seriously. Our friend brought them over last week and I literally couldn’t put them down for minutes.
They taste identical to sweet potato fries and are now a highlight of my afternoons at home.
• roses in the house
Scott brought these red roses home from Whole Foods last weekend and they lasted for almost a week!
I have always found the best priced dozen roses at Fresh Market, and they usually last the longest.
When I used to pass one on the way home from work in Orlando, I would occasionally stop in and end up leaving with flowers for myself just to enjoy them at home. Depending on the time of year, you used to be able to find them for as low as $7.99! Man I miss that store.
• Fabletics gear
I received a few new pieces from Fabletics this month and absolutely adore the fun print and soft materials of them.
I appreciate the built-in cups and support in their sports bras and think the cut out of this back is too cute!
I wore the other two items all day at the conference today and received so many compliments!
I wasn’t sure how the material of the legging would be (not a fan of accidental see through shots), but they proved to be thick and moisture wicking enough to keep me dry and confident in anything from BodyPump in the morning to PiYo late in the afternoon.
I am also digging both of those workouts, by the way! I’ll be sure to share the details early next week!
• Quest protein bars
I picked these Quest Bars up at the EXPO in the conference today and waited all of five minutes before getting into the chocolate chip flavor.
I had a chance to try a ton of their flavors last year and genuinely loved every single one. The banana nut muffin is one of the best, in my opinion, so it will be savored and in my bag waiting for me when I need it later this weekend.
• catching up with blogging buddies
Katy and I made some of my blogging friends pose with us for a picture with the bars in exchange for two of them. Of course we had to be the obnoxious ones in the front. You can’t take us anywhere.
Spending the past few days working out, learning from fitness professionals, and talking about blogging with these ladies has been such a treat. I’m also convinced “normal” photos might be out of the question…
The conference has been a blast so far and I am learning so much that I can’t wait to share with you. Keep getting in on the sneak peeks by following the hashtags #ideaworld and #sweatpink over the weekend!
Don’t forget to enter in the Albion Fit giveaway if you haven’t already and like cute fitness fashion!
Have a wonderful weekend!
