Good morning and Happy Friday!! Whew… did your week just fly by too? I really don’t know how we are already here, but I’m not questioning it.
Who’s pumped for the weekend? I am looking forward to ours (after I spend tonight taking an online driving course… sigh) so to kick things off, let’s get right into our weekly Friday Favorites party!

Friday Favorites #64: Week of 11/21
Here’s what I’ve been loving this week…
• Minnetonka moccasins
I have mentioned these bad boys a time or two, but this is the first time I am really highlighting a picture of them.
Don’t these slippers just scream comfort?

Minnetonka moccasins are a popular brand up in the mitten (Michigan), and I was pumped to find these for $24 at Marshalls. I pretty much wear them 24/7 when I’m home. They are so warm and cozy!

These are great ideas for those of you who are actually cooking this year… Spoiler Alert: I’m taking this one off!
• Swiffer Bissell SteamBoost mop
This might sound lame, but I got ridiculously excited about finding this at Kmart for 40% off!
I mentioned this a little while ago, but it looks as though a percentage of Kmart stores are going out of business across the country. Keep your eyes peeled for blow-out sales near you!
Anyways, I bought the mop and the thinking I would need several to clean all of the tile and wood in our house. Usually, I need a good three or four wet pads with my Swiffer sweeper. Not this time!
Since you plug this version in and fill it with water, it produces steam… hence the title. The steam keeps it wet throughout the use! I’m not sure if that’s how you are supposed to use the refill pads, but it certainly did the job in our house. Woo hoo!

• my new favorite T-Swift song on repeat
I heard this new jam a week or so ago, but really fell in love with the song when I saw this video. It’s not the official one, but it’s so much cuter.
I heart Taylor. And PS, check out this acoustic cover of the same song from Tyler Ward. So pretty.

• apple corer
I picked up an apple corer on our day of apple and pumpkin picking at Big Red’s Cider Mill.
I wasn’t sure how to use it at first, but I assure you it couldn’t be easier. Simply stick it in the apple around the core and pull. I can’t recall the brand of this one, but we got it for less than $5 and they sell them at most kitchen and home good stores.

I was recently contacted by the sweet Jar Half Full Etsy shop owner, Jamie. The Jar Half Full sells modern calligraphy mason jar tumblers with a side of sass. They believe that the jar is half full & you should always #SipFancy!
A portion of the proceeds go to the Siobhan O’Sullivan Foundation. Siobhan is a best friend of Jamie’s who is now a quadriplegic due to a spinal cord injury she sustained in 2013. The foundation was created to support her throughout her long road to recovery.
After hearing the story behind these mason jars, I knew I wanted one. Please excuse my shadowy inside picture of the one I selected. The snow and early sunset is really throwing me off of my picture taking game!
I was gifted this Rise & Grind glass tumbler, but I want to purchase the other two because they are all so cute!

Skyler did great walking into KINDERGARTEN with a big smile on his face this morning. I, however, was a bit of a mess on our walk home. 🥹
It’s wild how fast these 5 years with him have gone … 7 since we moved to NYC and into our apartment, dreaming of the day our kids would someday go to the *awesome* school right down our block. 🏫
That day is today, and I still don’t believe it — feeling allll of the emotions and thanking God for placing us here and for being able to trust His timing through the journey. 🫶🏼 #hbshinnyc

So, I pretty much have the new T-Swift cd on repeat. SO good! We have a Shark Steamer for the floors, and I could never go back to a mop. It’s so easy and effective! Have a great weekend!

I’m intrigued by that steam mop. I’m always looking for something to help me keep my floors clean. I like to get on my hands and knees to clean every few weeks, but on a week to week basis, an easy steam mop like this one would be nice!
Ohhhh, girl they are. I was the same way about my mop. I just never wanted to invest in anything. I think this is a great steamer option for a good price!

Hi Heather! I love the mason jars, and I’d like the “Work hard and be nice” one, but they are all so cute. And I have an apple slicer that also cores the apples, and it’s so incredibly useful. I also have a banana slicer, and I love that thing even more. Convenience is key! And it helps to make food photos a little better too if you can evenly cut up the fruit. 🙂 Happy Friday!
We have an apple slicer too, I just never use it. Couldn’t tell you why! Ohhh a banana slicer sounds super useful. I had getting banana “mash” on my fingers when I slice them. 😉

OBSESSED with these mason jars. I have been meaning to switch to glass for my morning smoothies and this might just have solved my problem! Love those slippers, too – I have Ugg slippers that have a thicker sole so I can wear them outside, and I can’t imagine winter yoga without the promise of those slippers when I leave the studio!
