Good morning! It’s Friday! To help get us all through the day and ready for the weekend, let’s have some fun and dive right into this week’s edition of Friday Favorites.
I’m really looking forward to this weekend and know that a lot of you are too. I’m heading out to a quick trip to Florida with a mission to soak in quality family time, and I am hoping to also bask in the sun, palm trees, and sand while I’m down there. Gosh, that sounds glorious.

Friday Favorites #77: Week of 2/20
• Anthropologie notebook
I received this notebook as a gift at a women’s bible study on Monday. I have a few notebooks to write in at home now, but this one in particular is oh so adorable.
I believe they got the variety of colors (others came in pink, mint, and black) from Anthropologie. This is closest version I could find online. I just love that store!
• candy bracelet flashback
The week before, I received this candy bracelet (I’m sorry, watch!) from one of the girls. You totally want to get in on this group now, don’t you?
I don’t think I ever sported the watch version growing up, but it’s pretty fancy. Whatever it was (watch/bracelet/awesomeness), it didn’t last more than a few minutes on my wrist because I ate it all like a champ.
• rainbow Nerds
Speaking of candy (sorry… I know it’s not-so healthy living), I also fell victim to this large box of Nerds this week. Holy geez did I forget how addicting those little nuggets of colored hard candy are.
This is exactly why I don’t buy candy. If it’s in the house, it’s gone within a few days time. Practically eating even the rainbow box still made me smile, nonetheless.
• iHome
Moving on from the sweet stuff, I have really been loving our new iHome clock radio since the day it came in the mail!
(Yes, it’s on the floor because we still don’t have end tables next to our bed. It’s fine.)
We have been eyeing an alarm clock upgrade for years, and finally invested in the iHome Bluetooth Stereo right after Christmas. Scott ordered off of Amazon for under $90 and it was a great choice! I love that we can play our music through the Bluetooth speaker and that I can also wake up to a clear radio. Win!
• hard-cooked peeled eggs
Have you ever seen this bag of hard boiled peeled eggs at the grocery store?
The brand is Eggland’s Best and they really are just that. The best.
As easy as hard-boiling eggs can be, I don’t do it nearly as often as I should. I love having these hard-cooked peeled eggs ready to go in the fridge for a snack or part of a meal, and I have been turning to this bag all week long.
On their own, sided with snacks like almonds or cottage cheese, or atop salads, they add the perfect punch of protein and are super convenient!

Skyler did great walking into KINDERGARTEN with a big smile on his face this morning. I, however, was a bit of a mess on our walk home. 🥹
It’s wild how fast these 5 years with him have gone … 7 since we moved to NYC and into our apartment, dreaming of the day our kids would someday go to the *awesome* school right down our block. 🏫

Hard boiled eggs have been my jam lately. As a nursing mom I love to snack on them or throw them in my salad for some extra protein. Not to mention they are the one food that actually keep me full! Love, love, love your notebook. I love a beautiful notebook that I can keep next to my computer for inspiration.

Oh my gosh, Scott had the one before for YEARS before I even met him. Buttons would stick and I couldn’t use the alarm half the time, so it was more than time for an upgrade. You would love the iHome!
Funny you mentioned hard boiled eggs because I was just talking to my parents on how I wanted to perfect the hard boiled egg. I made a batch last week that didn’t come out that well.
I’m still not sure I have “perfected” it, but I can at least get the job done. Good luck with yours!

Yes I have! I don’t like them as much as the original, but you really can’t go wrong with ANY type of Nerds. 😉

I always almost buy those pre cooked hard boiled eggs but for some reason I don’t, but you are so right this would make quick meals so much easier I think it would be worth the extra cost!
Haha, that was me for years! I finally broke down and bought them a year or so ago and haven’t turned back since. They’re great to have on hand for days were I want hard boiled eggs but don’t have the time (okay, patience) to cook them!
Underlining is the biggest struggle for me! Love that little notebook too, sounds like you have one cool Bible study! 😀

I heard it was chilly today! But, for what it’s worth, it was -11 this morning here. So…. really, anything is better than that. Hopefully it warms up for the both of us!
Nerds are my favourite candy! My husband and I always pick up a box if we are doing road trip somewhere, its become our little tradition.
I love that. Scott and I do the same thing. It’s like getting “treats” for driving a long distance. Too funny!
I love Nerds, but I only ever have them around Halloween. Might have to change that! 🙂

I love nerds!! I ate a bunch of ’em this week right after teaching BODYPUMP & CXWORX because I was feeling like I needed sugar (baby #2 wanted ’em) 😉 I can’t have them too often though, or else then I start to hate them. Same with skittles.

I love hard boiled eggs…I want to get an egg boiler…they look like the best thing since sliced bread!
I cannot have candy in my house either girl…it like whispers to me that it is still in the cupboard and I have to keep going back for more until it is gone. I’m pretty sure sugar is my drug…and I can’t have one bit of it or else I eat it alllll!

I’m lazy and love buying pre-cooked hard boiled eggs to keep as quick snack in the fridge. I used to loveee candy necklaces as a kid!
