Good morning! It’s Friday, y’all!
Scott and I don’t have anything crazy on our schedule for the weekend besides a game tonight followed by the closing of the NBA season. I’m sure this time of the year is bittersweet for him, but I am really looking forward to getting more time with him at home after Sunday.
Do you have anything exciting on the agenda this weekend?
I know we have another work day to get through, but in an effort to help it go by a little faster, we like to talk Friday Favorites here on the blog every Friday morning. I enjoy seeing what you have been loving too, so please feel free to play along and join in on the comments section and link-up at the bottom!
Friday Favorites #84: Week of 4/10
• beauty counter rose water uplifting mist
I have been obsessed with rose water mist ever since I brought it home from a friend’s Beauty Counter party. By the way, Beauty Counter is a completely natural skin care and makeup line that steers away from using any chemicals.
This uplifting facial mist renews and hydrates the skin. Organic rose essence and purified water combine to nourish the skin and create a dewy glow every time you spray it.
You can use it any time for a quick boost by holding it six inches from your face and spritzing the skin. It smells like a rose garden and makes me feel instantly refreshed any time I use it! Love this product and company.
• baseball tees
I have been all about the baseball tees lately. They have been my favorite style of shirt to sport around the house, and one might even be spotted on me around town from time to time.
With the occasional toothpaste stain, right Courtney? Ha! The Pistons shirt totally gave me away. The struggle is real… Every. Single. Day.
Anyways, I love the 3/4 sleeve length for lounging at home… not too hot, not too cold, but just right. And so comfy!
• Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Oreos
You guys. Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Oreos. Worth it.
Do I really need to say more? I didn’t think so!
• maroon nail polish
I am usually into more of the pinks and softer tones by April, but I just can’t get off of my maroon kick this year.
After my first manicure in almost a year, I fell in love with an O.P.I. maroon polish from the wall at the salon. I selected it as my color for that appointment and immediately found and bought an identical version at Target later that day for under $3.
I had never heard of the Sinful Colors line before, but I couldn’t be happier with the product for the price. Check out their line of shades! I will for sure be investing in more in the future.
• orthopedic foam bed
After letting Roadie sleep on our couches and in our bed for years (<- I know, we’re so weak), I thought it was time to finally invest in a quality dog bed for him.
I found this Top Paw Orthopedic Foam Bed on clearance in the holiday section at PetsMart just a couple of weeks ago!
They had green and red colors available, but I snagged a silver/grey shade for around $30. It was a steal!
Roadie may not seem like he likes it here, but trust me, he’s a serious fan. It’s nice knowing his little dog bones are supported in a similar way that ours are with a memory foam mattress.
• key with cross
Scott and I both received a tiny key at service on Easter morning, and I just adore it. I wanted to put it up in my car somehow, but for now, it has just been hanging on my cotton ball holder/ring holder.
• This punny tank top…
…that has two incredible meanings. Do you see them? I might need it.

That road sign…lol….that is crazy! And I am totally with the cat these days here in Texas…it’s already been crazy humid. Have a great weekend!
Haha, it’s crazy how humid it can get in the Southern states. I can’t say I miss that up here… but, for what it’s worth, enjoy the warmth! 😉
gretch @ gretchruns
Happy Friday!! I also love comfy baseball tees. and the namaste shirt is hilarious!!
Haha, I think so too. Love it!
Those oreos look amazing ohmygosh. Now I just want to go buy them haha. Why did you have to share them?!
Haha just passing on the evil that was shared to me 😉
Kelly Runs for Food
I’ve been hearing about those oreos! I’m a sucker for Reese’s, so I don’t think I’d have any self control with those around. Have a great weekend!
They’re every bit as dreamy as you would hope them to be!
My husband doesn’t trust any of the specialty Oreo flavors. I dunno why. I still want the cookie dough and red velvet ones. Then again, they did come out with limeade ones last year, so their genius is in fact questionable. And that sign gives new meaning to the phrase cow tipping. Have a great weekend!
Limeade?? I’m not sure I can get on board with that. I don’t usually like specialty Oreos either… buttt these are amazing!
Bahahaha YES to the toothpaste stain! 😉
Haha #twinsies 😉
Ashley @ A Lady Goes West
Hi Heather! Happy Friday! I just bought a fancy baseball tee from Banana Republic, which I’ve been loving. And rose water for the face? That reminds me of this Evian spray thing I used to have and loved. So many good things in this post! Enjoy the free time with Scott! That’s not happening for us out here hehhehe! Go Dubs! 🙂
I guess that’s the good part about not going to the playoffs, longer summers! 😉 I bet your banana tee is adorable. Happy weekend!
Beth @ Running with the Sunrise
That bunny was totally me yesterday. We had all sorts of rain coming through Chicagoland and of course right as I’m leaving work after my shift I see myself in the mirror and one spot in the side of my head has decided to get crazy frizzy and poofy. Must’ve had some crazy hair sticking up all day. I’ve been having a hard time giving up the dark nail polish colors now that it’s spring, too. My last mani I got this awesome neon teal color that I’ve been completely loving, so that’s been helping me get over my dark polish loss. 🙂 Have a great weekend!
Oh, neon real sounds cool! Haha love it. I’ve officially given up on wearing my hair straight in Florida. Curly or bust! lol
Erin @ Her Heartland Soul
I always love the funny pictures you find! Yay for getting to spend more time with Scott! And I need to look into that punny tshirt line. Too cute!
They always have some great ones! I try not to post them too often but I really could find a good one every week 😉
That bunny was so appropriate over the last two days in Chicago! We were getting some serious rain! Thankfully, it’s much better today 🙂 Also, those Oreos are amazing! I’m not as crazy about the “regular” peanut butter Oreos, but the Reese’s ones? Deeeelicious! Have a great weekend, Heather!
It’s been raining here too!! Still super cold though. Yes, Reese’s peanut butter are so much better bc they are also mixed with chocolate. Yum!
Of course! More chocolate = better 😉
You DID NOT mention that Oreo- you DID NOT. 🙂
Haha just pretend I didn’t say anything. It’s fine. 😉
I love baseball-style tees. Also I really want to try those Reese’s oreos. I wish they had a sampler pack because having a whole package is dangerous!
It definitely is. But, if it makes you feel better…. Oreos are accidentally vegan. So there’s that. 😉
Annette Perkins (@FitnessPerks)
You have the best funnies–that nah ma stay in bed one is great!!! haha!
Hahaha such a classic 🙂
totally need that shirt!! 🙂
They have some really cute ones on etsy! Just type in the words in the search bar and it will be hard not to find several you’ll love!
Strength and Sunshine
Sinful Colors is one of my favorites actually! It lasts a super long time!
I can’t believe I’ve never tried it before! Definitely a great and more cost effective line to use than O.P.I. all the time.
Ashley @ My Food N Fitness Diaries
I discovered Sinful Colors several months ago and have stocked up on several shades from them. You really can’t beat the price!
That little key is so cute! I’d say put it on your key ring or make it into a necklace!
Ohh on my key ring would be great! And yes, I need to go stock up on more. Love it!
I was surprised how good those oreos were. They really do taste like Reese’s! Oreos are dangerous in my house. I cannot control myself. 😛
Haha, same! I only buy them every couple months or so… 😉
I NEED to try those oreos!!! DANG they are nailing the flavors lately! I love baseball tee’s… might go look for some now!
I know right? They need to stop because I keep wanting to try EVERYTHING.
That bed looks super comfortable! I would want to sleep on it 😉
haha, right? I can’t say I haven’t laid down with him on it before for a minute. #ridiculous
Julia @ Lord Still Loves Me
I have always been a huge fan of baseball tees. Basically, I love anything that is comfy + cute, and I think baseball tees are the perfect mesh between those two qualifications! I JUST heard about the Reese’s Oreos, and I NEED to give them a shot! I don’t like regular Oreos, but I have a feeling those will change my mind.
Have a fantastic weekend Heather!
Agreed! And yes, you NEED to try the Reese’s Oreos. You won’t be disappointed!
