Ohhhh boy, are you guys in for a treat this morning! With so many random thoughts going through my head these past couple of days, I couldn’t think of a better way to share them all with you than in another edition of Glamour Randoms.
Basically, listed below are a handful of thoughts, pictures, or interesting things (completely unrelated to anything else) I have been wanting to share. Here we go!
1. The Olympics = Way Past My Bedtime
Okay, okay… who hasn’t stayed up late for at least a night or two during the 2012 London Olympic Games?
The competitive sports and talent has been unreal this year! Since I am not always home to catch the games during the day time, Scott and I often turn the replays on at night and catch up on what happened.
Tuesday night I found myself finally turning off the television at 12:30 a.m. during the Men’s Gymnastics Finals. I guess I’m not doing a great job at sticking to my new sleep schedule this week, huh? After the Olympics are over – it’s on!
2. Snuggle Ball
I know not all of you are cat people, but even so: does this photo of Aspen curled up in a tight little ball make you want to snuggle up right next to her or what?
She really does melt my heart. Somehow, Scott and I have been blessed with three wonderful pets, all at the same time. I have grown up with cats my entire life, but really… the two currently living with Scott and I have had the best personalities yet.
Besides little things like occasionally urinating on things, (*cough, Cali, *cough) both seem pretty perfect to us and show adorable, sweet and unconditional love to us every single day. They sit in our laps, sleep on our pillows, and are always around, even if company is over.
We have trained them to respond to a dinner call and both can be found at the ledge of our bathtub whenever it’s bath time. What, is that weird? I might be slightly obsessed. It’s fine.
3. “Junk Room”
After a few thoughts of hesitation, I decided to share a disaster of a room that lives in our home. Before I show it to you, let’s get something straight… we aren’t hoarders. We live in a condo (without a garage) and Scott works in entertainment. It isn’t uncommon to find costumes, props, signs and sports memorabilia laying around our household on an every day basis.
About a year ago, we finally condensed all of his things and a few things of mine into one room and ever since that day we have labeled it the “Junk Room”. It isn’t all junk. You would actually be surprised at the amount of value sitting in this one spot of our house.
Over the past few months, Scott has kept busy sorting through things, organizing and selling a lot of his things on eBay and Craigslist. We have actually made a good amount of money, so I fully support this idea.
In an attempt to condense what we would move – if it becomes a reality – you will be able to find us in this room for the next few weeks, cleaning our little hearts out. Don’t be surprised when you see a few throwback photos pop up, either. That has been my favorite part about cleaning our stuff out so far!
4. F.L.Y.
I have really been enjoying reading and posting inspirational quote photos lately. If you follow me on Instagram or Facebook you have probably seen a few, and I’m just going to keep them coming.
Through all of the chaos and all of the uncertainty going on in our lives right now, it a goal of mine to stay positive. Inspiration, on a long exhausting day? Yes please!
*To the few guys who actually read this blog – go ahead an skip over this last one.
5. How To Workout On Your Period
I stumbled upon this video created by the fabulous Cassey from Blogilates. Although it might initially seem like TMI, she really does address some important issues I know some of us wonder.
And guys, I’m serious…*earmuffs* 😉
And with that, I’m going to wrap it up…
Have a fabulous Thursday! 😀
