Scott and I would be lying if we said we had anything but a lazy Saturday and partial Sunday this weekend. Do you ever have those days where you just need to catch up on oh… I don’t know… doing nothing?!
What I like to call nothing could include catching up on shows, starting a new book, watching a movie (or three), staying in lounge clothes and just taking some time to unwind. That theory was the epitome of our weekend, and I am not shy about it.
Scott and I both come from a busy-bee type of lifestyle and have really enjoyed the quality time we have been able to catch up on during the first year of our marriage. We are still in the transition mode of him being between full time jobs, and I know it will not be too much longer before his days and nights go back to being scheduled for him.
When it happens it happens, and until then we are at peace with it.
Speaking of inner- peace and calmness, have you ever heard of a tea using eleuthero: natural energy enhancing supplements?
Infuse Your Mood Tea
I was recently contacted by Sun Chlorella USA to sample their all-natural Eleuthero Infuse Your Mood Tea. Eleuthero tea has been used by traditional Eastern cultures for thousands of years for its emotional and physical benefits.
As an every day coffee drinker, I was immediately up for the challenge of swapping out caffeine for natural energy.
After trying it with sweeteners, on its own, hot, and iced, I am confident in saying I have had my fair share of sampling. It has the taste of a light green tea, which is a flavor I already prefer to drink on a regular basis.
It is easy to get the same effect and benefits in an iced tea. When in a hurry or on-the-go, I have enjoyed this eleuthero tea brewed, then placed over ice in a to-go tumbler to take with me.
I am actually sipping on a hot cup of tea as I type, and have decided it tastes best as it comes, which only includes adding hot water.
My Review
My overall experience with the product is a positive one. I enjoyed the refreshing taste and lightness of the tea. My focused improved after drinking it, but I am still questioning if this would be able to replace my every day morning coffee.
What I loved about it:
• The company only uses 100% natural products.
• It is caffeine-free.
• It is close to calorie-free (only 2 calories per serving).
• Ingredients only include Eleutherococcus senticosus leaf. That’s it.
• I really did notice a focus stimulated while and after drinking the tea.
• Tea includes emotional and physical benefits.
What I still question:
• A few times while drinking the tea, I did not notice anything changing in my mood. A time a two yes, but a time or two, no. Is part of it mental?
• Could this really replace my body’s daily caffeine intake? I am a coffee looover.
Would I buy this product? Possibly. I am intrigued. I didn’t have a sip of coffee yesterday, and after two separate servings of Infuse Your Mood tea, I managed to block out the usual “in need of caffeine” headache.
At $7.61 a box with twenty tea bags, the price seems to be a little high, but that is to be expected as it is a specialty health infused tea. When my box is empty, I will be interested to see if my mood and energy levels change. As always, I will share my results with you.
What do you think? I encourage you to comment below. Feedback from this post will more than likely spark a giveaway for one or some of you to try this product out for yourselves! 🙂
Questions of the Day
• Have you ever tried a Eleuthero tea?
• If you are a tea drinker, have you ever experienced an uplifting feeling, a calmness, a focus, or change in your mood while or after drinking it?
For me, drinking any kind of hot beverage out of a coffee mug is comforting. There’s something about taking a few minutes to myself to unwind and enjoy a beverage that makes me feel good. Whether it’s coffee, tea, or even a cup of warm milk, I get a warm and fuzzy feeling and wonder if that is where my mood change came from. Although I will never know for sure, I would love to hear your experiences with herbs and natural supplements!

Tea!!! I also love both but I couldn’t live without tea. I try to stay away from caffeine so that makes my options slightly more limited, and tea has so many more choices for decaf than coffee does (I also prefer iced coffee over hot). Teavana teas are my favorite. I love anything fruity, decaf green tea, and lemon black tea. There are very few teas that I dislike other than chai!
