Every year, I like to share a few round-ups that feature gift ideas I would like to purchase for others around the holidays. In case you missed it, I kicked off this year’s LIL Holiday Gift Guides with Gift Ideas For Him.
I hope you enjoy the goodies and can even pass it onto someone who might be in need some ideas. (For the lady readers: hint, hint in reference to your boyfriend, husband, brother, etc.)
Here’s what I’ve got on my wish list this year!
• hair tie bracelet
If the woman you’re shopping for is anything like me and has hear long enough for a ponytail, she probably carries hair ties on her or (gasp!) on her wrist at all times. I saw these hair tie bracelets a few months ago, and I absolutely love the idea behind them.
While it’s practical and nice to have a hair tie within reach at all times, it isn’t always professional to accessorize with them. These bracelets are game changers and in price the price range from $45 for steel-plated to $85 for pieces that are made out of silver, gold, or rose gold. You can even get them engraved! (Pictured above.) The original jewelry company to sell these bracelets is Bittersweet, and there are more versions popping up every day. I love all of the different ways they can be styled to wear with anything!
• Hunter boots
Quality rain boots are great for those rainy, snowy, messy days. In our neck of the woods, that’s a good chunk out of the year, and I have been wanting to get a pair of Hunter rain boots for quite some time.
They come in all different shades and styles. My personal favorite is the traditional black, navy, or green. I also like the for extra snowy winter days we see in our neck of the woods. You can find them at most high-end department stores and online , , and
• NAKED eyeshadow palette
While I don’t actually own an , it’s been on my radar for a while now. If the person you are buying for doesn’t have one already, there’s a good chance that she has wanted one for years, too… (if she’s into makeup). People rave about them.
Many companies have come out with similar palettes, but none ever match the rich colors and quality of product. There are so many makeup tutorials out there that reference this exact palette, and if you do the math, you’re really only paying $4.50 per shadow. A seems like a steal for all of these shades!
If you’re on a tighter budget, check out for $29.
• Erin Condren life planner
Add this to the list of things I’ve been coveting for years… an Erin Condren life planner!
(pictured)
Beyond the adorable (customizable) designs, I love that they give you the option to plan each day vertically or horizontally, and can be separated in to morning, afternoon, and night sections. The new 2016 planner features an hourly option for those who like to note important meeting times, deadlines, or details (this seems perfect for stylists, photographers, and bloggers!) to record your daily tasks and schedule. They run a bit pricier than most planners ($50+), but they’re pretty close to perfect.
• blanket scarf
You really can’t go wrong with scarves, and in my book, blanket scarves are where it’s at. I mean, you’re basically wearing a blanket around your neck. Who wouldn’t love that?
I love, love and this Lace Trip Blanket Wrap, both Betsey Johnson via Zappo’s. I’m also bookmarking this Ralph Lauren Mohair Blanket Wrap, and this Multi Stripe Blanket Scarf from Urban Outfitters. So comfy!
• Casetify phone case
I discovered Castefiy via Pinterest a few months ago, and I’m completely smitten. If you haven’t upgraded to the iPhone 6/6s yet, don’t worry. They have designs for the 5/5s and 4/4s, as well as other accessories for Apple products. Casetify offers a huge variety of designs, and my favorites are from the Shine Through collection.
They also sell cases for the Android, and you can even create a custom design.
There’s almost too many choices!
• Essie nail polish trio pack
I’ve been a fan of Essie nail polish for ages. O.P.I is a great brand, too. I love finding trio packs for myself, and think they’re a great gift that any girl on your holiday shopping list would love.
(pictured) is perfect for the winter season. I’m also looking at the . The is also a great option for $9.99!
• initial pendant necklace
How cute are these Kate Spade “One In A Million” Initial Pendant Necklaces?
I love both the plain letter and circle engraved initial pendant necklaces, and I always think it’s adorable when I see a mother wearing the initials of her children, too. You can find a lot of different styles on Etsy, and I also like this one, this one, and this one (<- cool shape).
• the everyday legging
It’s obvious that I am a fan of leggings (welcome to Life In Leggings, ha!), and I know I’m not the only one. Whether the person you are shopping for is into yoga or not, most women would appreciate a quality pair of leggings they can wear around the house, to the gym, or even out and about while running errands.
Prints are fun, but if you’re thinking of purchasing a quality pair as a gift for someone else, a good neutral (and thick! – nobody likes see through slips), black, navy, or grey might be the way to go. Pictured is my all-time favorite pair of neutral leggings I have dressed up, down, and all around town. (I also have them in grey.)
Here are some of my other go-to leggings I have in my closet and wear on a regular basis (any time of the day, really!).
CALIA Moto Tight // // Fabletics Salar Legging
And some I still have on my wish list.
lucy Lodge Tight // Lorna Jane Be Seen Ankle Biter Tight // lululemon Wunder Unders
If you’re on a budget, check out the C9 by Champion line at Target and Xersion line at JCPenney! I love my grey fitted tights and wear them weekly. (They also come in tall.)
My personal favorite brands include:
Lorna Jane // CALIA // Reebok // lululemon // lucy // Fabletics
• coffee or travel mug
Some kind of coffee or coffee to-go mug always sneaks its way onto my holiday gifts guides. They’re just so cozy and cute!
(pictured)
One year, I received a collection of coffee mugs in all different styles, and it’s one of my favorite gifts I’ve gotten yet!
I also love travel mugs. Francesca’s has and adorable collection of them. If the woman you are shopping for is a coffee or tea drinker, she’ll appreciate your gift every time she uses it!
More Ideas:
» Stitch Fix gift card – an online styling service I have blogged about dozens of times!
» gift a subscription they would enjoy like Amazon Prime (enjoy discounts on products and free 2-Day shipping), Netflix, or Spotify Premium
» gift a package of photo-to-canvas prints (search for deals on Groupon and other printing companies like Snapfish or Shutterfly)
» all the three-wick candles from Bath & Body Works
» replace their favorite perfume
» treat them to a spa service like a massage, pedicure, and/or facial
» basically anything from Anthropologie… (that store makes me swoon!)
» the same goes for Francesca’s
» full season DVDs of their favorite television series
» flannel pajamas – because who doesn’t love those? (Victoria’s Secret has a great flannel selection)

Jenn @ Mark My Miles
Good Morning! I love all coffee mugs, I may have an obsession…my cabinets are so full!
I love giving the gift of health and heart to any woman. We all need a group of women to pray for us and connect with and help keep us accountable to reach our goals to be our best selves while also feeling like we are enough! I’ve struggled with depression and anxiety for a long time and am now hosting exercise, healthy eating and prayer online women groups. I think that would make a great gift : )

STOP THE PRESSES!! That hair tie bracelet is genius, and it’s almost so obvious a solution that I am ashamed I didn’t think of it myself. I may gift these to every long-haired lady in my life just because.
Heather
Right? I thought the same thing, haha. How have these not been a “thing” yet? So great!
SuzLyfe
Fantastic list… I definitely want all of these things! There was a Hunter sale on one of my deal sites the other day, and I meant to send it to my MIL (to get the boot liners) but I forgot and the sale ended. GAH
