One Year Later

Today is a very special day for Scott and I.  If you have followed my blog this week, it’s no secret that today is our 1 Year Wedding Anniversary!

I have no idea what we are up to today, but I’m excited to spend some quality time with my groom.

One Year Later

One year ago our lives changed in so many different ways.  The life we knew and lived together suddenly changed when Scott parted ways with a job he had for over nine years just three weeks before our wedding day.

We met through this job.  With our crazy schedules to deal with, we made a relationship work and shared our love for each other as well as a passion to perform in sports entertainment.

Within a blink of an eye – every plan, hope and dream we had for the next season completely vanished.  Leaving the Magic was completely unexpected, and when we got back from our honeymoon we had a brand new life together, unsure of what direction to take.

Were we scared? Yes. Were we worried? Absolutely.  Are we now? No. 

God has us.  It took us a while to fully trust Him, but we truly believe everything happens for a reason and know He will lead us to wherever we are supposed to be.

The next few weeks are about to get pretty crazy for us, but we’re ready to hold on together and get through it.
