Hi, friends! I hope you are having a great Monday so far.
Since Scott and I are currently en route driving down South, I took some time to clean out my phone over the weekend. As a blogger, I take SO many photos of the weirdest things. I probably have thirty unlabeled photos on my computer desktop at all times, just waiting to be edited and thrown into a post for some reason or another.
Since none of these (along with tons of others still sitting around) never made the blog, I thought it would be fun to take a look back at some of the photos I uploaded from my iPhone and dump them all into one post. I’ve seen this type of “Photo Dump” post done several times by other bloggers, and for whatever reason, I always get a kick out of seeing what they find.
Below are some behind-the-scenes snapshots over the last few months. Enjoy the randomness!
Photo Dump #1
This must have been a somewhat cold running day in the snow with Roadie. Mind you, this shot was found in my March folder. I am running in a warm down jacket, gloves, a neck-warmer, and an ear-wamer headband in March. Not cool, Michigan.
(Roadie, however, is pretty cool. Especially in this photo. #stud #profilelookawayshot)
Ohhh hey, Downtown Orlando! Gosh, I miss you.
Here’s Aspen right after she got her yearly shots. They took her to the back to perform a few exams and brought her back to the room wrapped in a blanket with a muzzle on! I guess you could say it caught me off guard.
(A muzzle? Really?)
Ha! I remember this one. I was working late on the computer, so Roadie took it upon himself to join me at the kitchen table and keep me company. He’s so thoughtful. <3
Hello from New York! Remember when Scott surprised me with a trip to NYC for my 30th birthday?
There were a lot of desserts involved, including this stop into a bakery in Astoria soon after we arrived. I loved the little Elmo and Cookie Monsters!
As soon as we dropped off our stuff at my friend Lauren’s apartment, we took the longest cab ride ever (seriously… we got lost three times) over to Tribeca.
Despite the dramatics from us, we were having such a great time just being outside on vacation.
It was so great to spend some much needed quality time with my best friend, Lauren, from middle school!
(I can’t tell you what we’re doing in that photo or why I felt the need to take one right then, but I’m pretty sure I laughed a lot that day!)
I can tell you that we met the sweetest little pup, Popeye!
Ohhh yeah. I attempted to make a vegan key lime pie (twice), but it never turned out. I still have the recipe drafted up and ready to go, but since I wouldn’t want anyone to make it… it will probably remain as a draft forever. So, enjoy this pretty picture of key limes instead. 😉
I have to give Scott credit for putting up with all of my photo requests. He’s usually pretty great at taking photos for me when I need him to, and I remember this day being particularly cold. I took a photo of us “freezing”… but what the heck is up with my arm?
(We’ll never know.)
Ah, yes. The lunch, dinner, and occasional linner I grab from Quizno’s on a break at the gym when I realize I haven’t eaten all day. It usually takes me less than five minutes to devour an entire combo.
Weekday morning snuggles from Cali!
And a colorful Saturday morning with Nichole.
Have you guys tried the Chobani Grape Greek yogurt yet? Oh my. I picked it up out of pure curiosity, and it was wayyy better than I was expecting. I need to find more and stock up, stat!
I loved this quote in front of our gym last week…
And, finishing things off with a drink I always pay way too much for.
But it’s worth it every time. <3
Want to play along?
Take a look back at the last few months on your phone and share one funny moment in the comments section.
See you all tomorrow from Missouri!

I have my fair share of not so cute, will never be published selfies on my phone. I should probably go delete them now, now that I think about it.
Haha, those are funny to see months down the road, eh? 😉
That grape Chobani yogurt is my new favorite! I have one last container sitting in my fridge. It’s so good! Have a safe trip South! I’m here in Northwest Arkansas all week, so let me know if you’d ever like to meet up!
It’s so delicious! I know we’ll be bouncing around the state trying to see his family, but I’ll let you know what days we are around!
Awesome pictures! I love fun, random posts like this!
I always have a lot of bad selfies. You have to take so many to get one good one! Then I am bad at keeping up with the delete game.
I love these kind of posts! You look adorable even in these random photos that you chose not to use. #jealous ! 🙂
Haha, Tricia… thanks!!
Fun weekend! I am absolutely in love with all of your pets, they are so adorable! The only glimpses I receive of these past few weeks/months are the occasionally unattractive and silly selfies that make up the bulk of my photos on my phone… not the best at documenting memories I suppose :P.
