Playing Catch Up, Again

Today, tomorrow, and the majority of next week will be spent playing catch up.  Whenever Scott leaves for out of town, I turn my attention and focus on my ever-growing “To Do” List, making it a personal goal to knock off as many things as possible.

I swear, my lists serve a purpose… my heart and head are in the right place, but I don’t seem to ever get around to little things that really need to get done.  Whether it is blogging, article or project related, tasks are small, but added up become very time consuming and I just can’t justify being on the computer and working on projects at all hours of the night when Scott is here.  There comes a time where you have to put family and relationships first, no matter how busy you may be.

Speaking of catching up, I completely forgot to talk about a fabulous meet up that happened last week!

Lady Bloggers Meet Up

Last Wednesday I met with a wonderful, talented group of women called the Central Florida Lady Bloggers.  We had a good amount of newbies, and I was delighted to see some familiar faces, as well as some new ones I personally invited show up.

We met in College Park at a restaurant called Taste, and it was one of the largest groups yet!

Time to Get Crackin’

Today, Scott leaves out of town for a what seems to be promising job interview in city far from Orlando.  I’m not going to go into details on where or what for, until a new position has been filled or a new contract has been signed.  What I can tell you is this year has been nothing but a test in our faith and in our relationship together, and we both truly believe everything will fall into place when it is supposed to.

Since our 1 Year Anniversary is coming up, I am excited about what exactly we will be doing on Sunday.  I am not expecting anything, but became instantly giddy when Scott slyly mentioned to “not make any plans” Saturday when he gets back into town for that night and day after. Intriguing…

Is it a fancy dinner? Couples massages? Will we be relaxing and watching the entire Season 6 DVD of Sex and the City? <- ha.  Sadly, that last one would never happen.

 All of those things sound like a perfect day to me. 😉

Well, there are certain “To-Do”s calling my name this morning, so it is time to get crackin’!  Keep a look out for a pretty tasty recipe coming your way tomorrow!
