Hello, hello! Okay… for the last week or so I have been promising a jump back into health and fitness focused posts back on the blog and today I am here to deliver.
What you all might not realize is that I actually do tend to stay active, even when I don’t write about it. I don’t always mention it because who really wants to hear “I went to Fitness Pilates again.” Ha. Not even me. In fact, I feel slightly embarrassed to enter it in daily mile these days. I’m waiting for someone to say “change it up, sister!”
Don’t worry guys, I got this. With a little inspiration from a new workout playlist and incentive to test out a new interval stopwatch for HIIT and Tabata workouts, I plan to get back into posting new and fun workouts.
Before we get too crazy, let’s start out with that playlist. I don’t know about you, but loading a fresh batch of upbeat music onto my phone always gets me going in the gym. Or on the running trails, whatever. Here’s what has been pumping me up this season!

What is one workout song you have been loving lately?
Have a great rest of your Tuesday!

I’ve been loving Hey Brother, This is How We Roll and Say Something oddly enough. Even though say something is more of a slow-er song I’m obsessed with it and I thinks thats why I love running to it so much!
Heather
I actually think the song is somewhat depressing but at the same time can’t stop listening to it!
Miranda @ Lovely Wife Lovely Life
We watched Beyonce’s “Single Ladies” music video in one of my classes yesterday and it’s still running through my head… and now these songs will be too! 😉
Heather
Haha, you’re welcome… 😉
Jess
I love Gaga’s song, and also love Selena Gomez Slow Down, it’s kind of cool! Sometimes what I do is to search the Pandora Pop and Hip Hop Power Workout station or the Today’s Hit station! They pump me everytime, unless Say Something (which is great for a cool down :D) appears.
Heather
I use the Today’s Hits station all the time!
Erica @ For the Sake of Cake
This post came at the perfect time! I’m updating my iTunes as we speak!
Heather
Woo hoo! Let me know if you come up with some good ones!

Heather
I agree 100%!
Runner Girl Eats
Love love love the playlist! I can never have enough new music suggestions. I can’t get enough Pompeii. Thanks!
Heather
Love them too. Glad you like the songs!
Emma @ Life's A Runner
I have actually been searching your blog for this, only to realize today that you hadn’t posted it yet! Major fail. Most of these songs are new to me except Team and Say Something, so it will be fun to have listen to new things for an entire workout. 🙂 It looks fantastic!
Heather
Ha, sorry in the delay… hope you enjoy it!
