Good afternoon! Gosh, where is this week going?
And how are we already halfway through Hump Day?
Before I start rambling, I want to acknowledge all of the amazing military veterans and those who faithfully served in the United States Armed Forces. Wishing you a very Happy Veterans Day, and thank you so much for your service and dedication to our country. You (and your families) are heroes to us all. <3
It’s been a little crazy this week, and I apologize for the random appearances on the blog thus far. Here’s hoping we get back to a normal posting schedule next week!
In the mean time, I have a new cardio workout to share with you that I put together on a whim. It’s meant for the stationary bike, but – in theory – it could be adjusted to be completed on a treadmill or elliptical, too.
Since I have been back to the barre for most of my workouts lately, I’ve been consciously trying to fit cardio into my days as well.
Here is a great patterned interval series that proved to be a challenge!
There is a consistent low, medium, high intensity pattern that repeats a total of five times. The last interval climb is rough, but it only lasts a total of three minutes versus the normal six.
I love the challenging push at the end!
Please feel free to modify this workout to best fit you and your personal fitness level. Every piece of equipment is different, and these numbers are given as an example of where to base your levels at. I highly suggest you gage the increase and decrease levels of interval intensities based on what feels good and realistic. What you see felt challenging to me!
Looking for an extra challenge?

I hate to make it so short today, but I need to get off to work. I hope you all have a wonderful rest of your Wednesday, and I’ll see you bright and early tomorrow morning.
Enjoy the workout if you decide to give it a try!
Questions of the Day
• Do you enjoy spinning or workouts on the stationary bike?
• What do you usually pair with your cardio days (if anything)?

If you decide to give these workouts a try, please listen to your body and rest or modify as you see fit. I always recommend consulting a doctor or health professional before making changes to your diet or fitness routine.

I love spinning classes. Other than that I’m not a big fan of stationary bikes. Great workout that I bet I can incorporate on the elliptical. Thanks.

Spin/cycle class is one of my favorites! I used to go to a gym to take classes but I found an at home option and now I’m even more addicted because I can spin whenever I want. Sometimes I’ll pair an upper body workout or ab workout on the days I do spin. It depends on my mood.

I really love stationary bike workouts; my favorite workout is HIIT. I had way more fun by doing that HIIT on my recumbent Exercise bikes rather than just following the typical cardio methods.
Moreover, I following just 20 -30 min workout on bikes.
1 – Warm up for about 2 – 3 minutes to heave your heart rate.
2 – Hard cycling as you can for about 10 – 15 seconds.
3 – Then Ride slowly for about 15 – 20seconds.
4- And repeat this process for 20 minutes.
5 – Cool down the cycling slowly for 4- 5 minutes.
