Hi friends! I hope your Thursday has started off on a good note. I’m currently coming to you from a nearby Dunkin’ Donuts.
Word on the streets is that the country’s most popular non-dairy alternative to coffee creamer (almond milk!) is now served nationwide at Dunkin’ Donuts. Today I am happy to report that the rumors are true!
(Tigers gear on me and my coffee cup was a total coincidence. Go Tigers!)
A couple of weeks ago, the kind folks over at Blue Diamond Almond Breeze sent me an alluring care package filled with two of my favorite things.
They must know me pretty well, right?
I have always been a fan of Dunkin’ coffee but rarely buy the original flavor. I was eager to give it a try!
(Please ignore the chipped nail polish. Also, those are definitely Scott’s moccasin slippers. #sowhatifweshareshoes)
Yum. All kinds of comfort and deliciousness made my morning cup of coffee feel like a bunch of warm hugs. Make fun all you want, but that’s what it felt like as I was sipping my cares away.
Helping kick off this exciting addition to the DD menu, I was asked to visit a location near me that offers almond milk. Twist my arm, why don’t you.
I started my morning off with a quick three miles with Roadie around our neighborhood and planned to treat myself with a visit soon after.
(Yup… I predict those running suggestions are going to be put into use at a slow pace after the antics he pulled today. Neighbors, bikers, and runners are not a threat, Mr. Protective.)
Anyways, as soon as we were done, I hopped in the shower and got in the car as fast as I could. I needed coffeeeee stat!
It looks like the majority of the locations offer this additive (as well as free wi-fi… holla!). You can visit the store locator and search for a special “AM” symbol indicating locations offering Blue Diamond Almond Breeze Vanilla Almondmilk.
I ordered an unsweetened Hazelnut coffee (did you know they now offer sweetened Hazelnut too?) with the recommended 3 almond milk cups for the medium size and a turkey sausage breakfast sandwich. That was my first time trying it and it was really good!
I used to visit DD close to every other day in Orlando. In my defense, there was a drive thru literally within walking distance from our condo.
After a quick search on the web, I was thrilled to see a couple of locations relatively close to me that offer this new almond milk addition to any hot or iced coffee!
I posted the photo I shared at the top of this post on Instagram earlier and I can already tell you guys are just as excited as I am about the news.
Here’s hoping you get to go out and give it a try soon!
Questions of the Day
• How do you take your coffee? Have you ever tried using almond milk?
• (Just for funsies) favorite DD donut… GO!
I used to use skim milk and some kind of natural sweetener, but I have slowly switched over to strictly almond milk. A little bit really goes a long way, and this campaign couldn’t have come at a better time!
I’m not going to lie to you. As soon as I hit publish, I’m off to try a pumpkin munchkin or three. I’ll be sure to let you know if they’re everything I’m dreaming them to be!

Woo hoo! We are hoping to make it to a game before it gets really cold!
Rebecca @ Strength and Sunshine
I would be stoked about this but Almond Breeze still has that carrageen… Still on the fence about that one. Plus I only drink coffee black anyway 😉
Heather
I wish I could do black coffee… maybe one day. Yeah, that’s not the best but it sure beats artificial sugar and creamers!
Amanda @ Positively Amanda
I love my coffee with almond milk when I make it at home. I was so excited when I heard this news, so I could order it from the store now! yay!
Heather
Yes!! Get on it! 🙂
Lauren @ The Bikini Experiment
I think it is so great they are now offering almond milk. I occassionally get almond milk lattes at the Whole Foods coffee bar – I have tried to re-create them at home and I am somehow missing the mark.
Shocked that DD beat out Starbucks! Good for them. 🙂
Heather
Whole Foods coffee (and hot) bar… YUM!!
Samantha @ Healthy Huggy Happy
I use unsweetened vanilla almond milk in my coffee every.single.morning! & I LOVE DD iced coffee, so pumped they have almond milk now! I will definitely hit that up ASAP. My fav is large iced coffee with one pump SF vanilla, one pump SF caramel, and skim milk (now AM!). Fav donut=chocolate munchkins. Please let me know if the pumpkin ones are worth a shot! Pumpkin stuff is so totally hit or miss for me. Hugs!
Heather
YUM! All of it!

Thanks for sharing your experience. I may need to connect with you regarding that social media plan – I have been asked to create a social media strategy to promote campus events and I have some good ideas, but I have never created a strategy or implemented and tracked the success of a strategy. It is exciting!

Hi Praveen,Once an employee is terminated, they are removed from the existing structure and therefore no longer report to the manager and are not presented through MSS. In order to accommodate this requirement, customization would need to be done to present these employees through MSS for this type of processing. Thanks,The Symphony HCM Experts

I’ve heard this rumor…so great to hear it’s true! 😉 When I drink my coffee at home, I typically like half & half in my coffee and that’s it! I love how creamy it makes it, and a little bit goes a long way. If I’m feeling fancy or need something sugary when I’m at a coffee shop, I’ll go with a couple squirts of flavored syrup, but that’s mostly just an every-once-in-awhile thing. I’ve tried almond milk in my coffee before, and it’s pretty good! It’s a nice change up, but heavy whipping cream or half & half will always be my fav. 🙂
Heather
Scot loves heavy whipping cream! I’m interested to see what he does if I just so happened to throw in almond milk instead… 😉

I’m so happy dunkin has almond milk now. I used to only go to Starbucks because they have soy milk and I can’t drink regular milk. Dunkin donuts is closer to me though and less expensive so I’ll be going there more often now!

You are so cute in your glasses. I love them! I used to just be a skim milk in the coffee gal, but I recently tried some of Lucas’s whole milk when we ran out and haven’t looked back. SO good. 🙂
Heather
Thank you! I’ve learned to embrace them. Whole milk is a great substitute for cream. Yum!
