Good afternoon! I apologize for buzzing in and out on the blog today.
I had a dentist appointment earlier today and have more appointments at the gym to get to very shortly! I had a small window of time at home for lunch, so I went ahead and put together the next round of Fashion Favorites to share.
Through this monthly series, I feature notable outfits I wore when I wasn’t in workout clothes. As someone who works at a gym and for themselves at home… you can imagine that getting dressed up doesn’t happen all that often, so I like to capture when it does.
While I was putting this post together, I realized I totally did it again. There were at least a handful of outfits I forgot to document, so I can only hope to get better at snapping more for next time. Eh, what’cha gonna do?

I was happy to put the winter coats away for a couple of weekends last month! I feel like I wear the same kind of outfit over and over throughout the winter: skinny jeans, comfortable sweater, boots, coat, hat, scarf, good to go. Whenever I get to escape to warmer weather, I (first of all… give my toes some love and polish… then) really enjoy breaking out other styles of clothing.
My absolute favorite purchase of the month was the Jessica Simpsonfrom Macys. I bought them as a comfortable heel option to wear to a wedding, and when I found out how comfortable they were, I packed them as my main shoe to dress up and down throughout my weekend in Houston. I look forward to wearing them with a variety of outfits for many seasons to come!

Skyler did great walking into KINDERGARTEN with a big smile on his face this morning. I, however, was a bit of a mess on our walk home. 🥹
It’s wild how fast these 5 years with him have gone … 7 since we moved to NYC and into our apartment, dreaming of the day our kids would someday go to the *awesome* school right down our block. 🏫
That day is today, and I still don’t believe it — feeling allll of the emotions and thanking God for placing us here and for being able to trust His timing through the journey. 🫶🏼 #hbshinnyc

The purple top looks fantastic on you as does the Nordstrom dress!! Those sandals are amazing as well! I’m into leggings, oversized sweaters and boots right now. Although to be honest, I can’t wait to pull out the spring/summer wardrobe!

I LOVE the polkadot/medalion (I can’t really tell) blue and white dress with the belt. Adorable! I also love the long, green and black striped tunic from Stitch Fix. Lots of cute stuff!
I’m totally into long tops and leggings right now. However, being tall works against my love of the trend. Tops that would be long on shorter people just don’t quite cut it for me!

I love the polka dot dress! I’m all about leggings right now. Since I’ve started bulking none of my jeans fit me so I pretty much live in workout clothes. Of course sometimes I’ll add a nice top to the mix when I’m feeling extra adventurous! 😉
