YouTube has been my saving grace for working out over the past few months.
While I am a certified personal trainer, that doesn’t mean that I’m up for creating my own workouts every single day. I love sharing original content, but I also enjoy taking group fitness classes at a studio or logging on and having someone tell me what do to in my living room.
Since I haven’t had access to a gym since the very beginning of April, I have relied on at-home workouts that I can complete with just my bodyweight, resistance bands, or at most, a couple sets of dumbbells.
Knowing that I’m not the only one who is on the lookout for free workouts you can access online anytime, I figured some of you might appreciate me sharing my current list of favorites.
Below are my go-to videos currently on rotation whenever I’m in need of a good sweat!
Some of the workouts featured below are 30 minutes or less, so I’ll complete more than one if I’m feeling adventurous or if I want to target certain areas. For example, one day I’ll complete a total body workout and maybe finish it off with a 5 minute ab video. The next day I’ll go for a run and pair it with an upper body workout.
It won’t take you long to figure out that I love POPSUGAR Fitness videos. They’re my favorite because of the challenging moves, the high energy music, and the variety of instructors!

Have a great Wednesday!
Patricia @ Sweet and Strong
This is an amazing list! I too like watching a video every so often for a workout and hate when I start one and I’m not feeling it, so I can’t wait to try all these out. Love Popsugar too! That’s always my go-to for a good workout video.

Thanks Patricia! The good news about videos is that you can switch to another one if you’re just not feeling it. I’ve definitely done that before! 😉

I love doing youtube videos! Sometimes I like making up my own workouts but there are other times when I just want to follow along and not have to think about what I’m doing and count/time my moves! My fave sites to follow on youtube are Tone It Up, Live Fit Girl, BeFiT, BodyFit by Amy, FitnessBlender and obviously Popsugar 🙂
Thanks for all of the recommendations – I look forward to checking them out!
Heather
I’ve never seen some of those channels before, thank you so much for sharing!

I love Ballet Beautiful! Sometimes I put the volume down and add my own workout music though. I guess it just depends on my mood!
