Hi strangers! How has your week been going?
I swear I blinked and we are back to Friday again. This week was another one for the books with crazy hours logged in at work and lots of things happening! I have a busy weekend on deck including a 5K (I’m working, not running ), hosting a fitness class at our sister studio, working a Farmer’s Market, and, oh yeah, spending time with Scott’s mom!
She flew in late Wednesday night to surprise him for his birthday! I can’t believe we actually pulled it off, too. He was genuinely caught off guard when she walked into a neighborhood bar to meet him last night! It was great.
I’m currently typing this intro up on the train as I head out to meet them both for dinner to celebrate the birthday boy. It’s 8:30 p.m. after an 11-hour day at work, so as much as I would LOVE to catch up with a round of favorites, I’m going to have to cut today short with a picture that sums up my favorite part of this week.
We love having family in town!
There is still the usual link-up for your Friday Favorites below, and, as always, I encourage you to share what made your week in the comments section! Catch up soon, my friends, promise.
I miss you! Happy Friday!

Pippa
My week was a big one, work wise, and sadly not in a good way! But hitting the pavements and trails has definitely helped me process and keep busy! I’ve also been reminded to be grateful (and present) for the people in my life, as they’ve really been amazing the past few days.
Heather
I love your energy Pippa! <3
