Good morning! I hope you have all had a great week. This one has been eventful for sure!
There is so much that I’d like to share with you, yet I don’t have much time to do so. You see, I planned to draft this week’s Friday Favorites Wednesday night. I ended up cleaning the apartment and doing laundry instead. Then Thursday rolled around, and I had an outing after work. The plan was to get back to it last night, but then … sleep. And then there’s this morning. I set my alarm to wake up at 5 a.m. to finish, but then … sleep.
The moral of the story is that sometimes you just have to listen to what your body/mind needs and roll with it. That said, I hope you enjoy this super express version of faves this week and still play along in the comments and link-up sections below!

Skyler did great walking into KINDERGARTEN with a big smile on his face this morning. I, however, was a bit of a mess on our walk home. 🥹
It’s wild how fast these 5 years with him have gone … 7 since we moved to NYC and into our apartment, dreaming of the day our kids would someday go to the *awesome* school right down our block. 🏫
That day is today, and I still don’t believe it — feeling allll of the emotions and thanking God for placing us here and for being able to trust His timing through the journey. 🫶🏼 #hbshinnyc

I haven’t seen the Rockettes in years! That show is always so amazing, especially during the holidays. I was just in NYC last weekend and I already want to go back.

I saw the Rockettes when I was a kid and LOVED it! And I’m sure I would enjoy it more now as an adult. And yes to all the Sweetgreen, I could eat there everyday for lunch.

I saw the Rockettes in Richmond, VA , 7 years ago with my mom and aunt. Loved it !!! I’d love to see them in NYC sometime though with my daughter…a bucket list item for sure. Have a great weekend!!!
