Friday Favorites #23: Week of 2/7

Good morning!

It’s Friday, and I think we can all do a little happy dance about that.

This weekend is actually jam packed for us, starting with back-to-back home games tonight and tomorrow. Then we have two more coming up Monday and Wednesday. Man, this season is nutso! But, there’s always a guarantee that our weeks will be eventful and interesting around this time of year. I can’t really complain!

Before I start rambling, let’s get right down to what I have been loving this week! Friday Favorites on favorites on favorites, shall we?

Friday Favorites #23: Week of 2/7

• snow boots

I have been in dire need of a good pair of snow boots ever since we moved up to Michigan last year! Normal “fashionable” boots are cute and all, but don’t seem to do much for you when there is more than a few inches of fresh snowfall on the ground. I needed North Face.

While the fun colors in these caught my eye, I decided to stick to the all black lace up pair I found at a North Face outlet on Black Friday. I loved them so much that I bought them, wrapped them up, and put them under the tree as a Christmas present to myself from Scott. Don’t hate.

Since they were found on clearance, it doesn’t surprise me that I can’t even find the exact pair online. This miiiight be them! These are equally adorable.

The most important thing to me in finding my pair was that they were tall and water resistant to keep out all of the sometimes knee-deep snow.

After dealing with what I have heard to be the worst winter season in over twenty years, I sincerely hope anyone living in conditions similar to ours owns a good pair of boots!

• seasonal coffee

Gah! Sometimes I wish I could just drink coffee all day long. Especially when it is flavored. And when it’s blizzard-ing outside.

This week, you might think I was seasonally confused if you took a look at what I was drinking. After noticing a few Dunkin’ Donuts discounted coffee flavors at Target, I couldn’t resist but to pick them up and give them a try.

I still have yet to try the Coconut, but the Gingerbread Cookie flavor is pretty epic. And you better believe I am holding on to what’s left of the beloved bag of Fresh Market Pumpkin Spice my mom brought up here!

• Facebook movies

In celebration of Facebook’s ten year anniversary approaching, Mark & the Facebook Team released an easy way for you to take a look back at the past decade (or however long you have been on the site) with Facebook movies.

I shared mine a few days ago and they seemed to have spread like wild fire! I feel like everyone now has their own one minute Halmark e-card floating around. Pretty cool.

It is really easy to create your own, if you haven’t already and it only takes a few seconds. Go on and share those highlights from the past years!

• Koss Fit Series Headphones + Discount

Do you remember those adorable fitness earbuds I wrote about right before the holidays? I included them in my fitness goodies wish list as part of this year’s Holiday Gift Guide.

The brand is Koss and they are all I have been using in my ears since I got them into my possession. I most commonly go for the FitClips (right).

Good news! I got word from FitFluential this week that all models and colors are now available at Walgreens for $19.99! That’s a ten dollar discount for a limited time only, so I hope those of you in need of a new pair can take advantage of it!

• nail designs + punny polish names

I have never been one to spend too much time on my nails. Heck, I’m lucky to even get a color on them these days.

I felt like doing something different with my nails last night and just for fun added a hint of sparkle to the tips of my color.

I think they turned out cute! The Spoiled “Thanks a Latte” brown color was a gift from a friend. I gave her Essie’s “We’re In It Together” for Christmas and she gave me the sweetest card with this nail polish out of the blue a few weeks later.

I love when nail polish names are punny!

• inspirational quotes

I could read and make a million of them. Some bloggers do!

I only share mine on days I really feel the need to, and Tuesday was one of those days.

Lately, the ones that inspire self motivation, chasing your dreams, and friendship have touched me the most.
