Good Morning! Today I am posting from the road, and have a fun travel workout to share with you.
Summer traveling always throws a kink in my regular workout routine. Instead of giving into “vacation mode” and slacking off in activity, I wanted to take the opportunity of being away from home to challenge myself and come up with a new workout I could do any where at any time.
Most of you already know I have a love for Pilates, yoga, and anything closely related to barre. While away from home, I have thrown a few of my favorite toning and balance exercises together and mixed them in with a little bit of cardio to give you a full body workout in under 40 minutes.
Pounce + Balance Travel Workout
The best part? No equipment is necessary.
Just you, a good playlist, and some fitness gear.
Before creating the workout, I received the latest from the PUMA Fitness line, and have included a full review of the products below. First, let’s break down those exercises!
Video Demonstration
Feel free to modify or change the workout to your liking, but this is the routine I plan on doing while traveling or on days I can’t get to the gym for the remainder of the summer. Repeat the set of exercises three times, rest as needed, and make sure to stretch afterwards!
Now onto that adorable fitness gear I’m wearing…
PUMA Ribbed Performance Tank
Why are workout clothes so comfortable? I could live in them at all times of the day, every day. Actually, I kind of do. Oops.
This tank is no exception. This one runs a little big on me, but that doesn’t stop me from wearing it. The shiny, ribbed material reminds me of a set of leotards I used to wear to dance conventions growing up. That doesn’t really have anything to do with this review, but is fun to point out!
I did break a few sweats in it, and for what it’s worth the dryCELL material helped keep me feeling fresh until I was able to change.
Performance Bodywear Tech ACTV Long Tight
These compression tights literally feel like a second skin. They are super soft, stretchy, and have a built in gripped lining on the inside to keep everything in place. Besides in the workout shown above, I have worn these tights on multiple runs and trips to the gym. Loving them!
PUMA Formlite XT Ultra Fluo Training Shoe
This shoe is unlike any other fitness shoe I have seen before! (Did you SEE me bend it in half in the video?) Its flipping awesome.
While I wouldn’t recommend this shoe for running, I feel comfortable wearing it to any other strength training, cardio, and fitness class at the gym. I really put them to the test by wearing them to a dance rehearsal, and they passed with (bright!) flying colors. Not only are they pretty to look at, but they are probably the lightest shoe I have ever worn. Any other color samples you want to send my way, PUMA, I would be more than happy to take off your hands. 😉
And there you have my latest workout in my latest fitness gear. Exciting stuff!
Now go on and get your PUMA Fitness on!
