I know I am not alone in saying that getting my sweat on is always more fun with new workout gear. As time goes by, it seems like the designs and lines for fitness enthusiasts and professionals are only getting better, and most of the time, brighter.
As someone who appreciates a little pep in her mostly spandex wardrobe, I was thrilled for the opportunity to receive and review a couple of new looks from the PUMA Fitness line. Check out the goods!
The Performance Look is designed for workouts like running and training.
Let’s start with the Mobium XT sneakers. As Florida native, I couldn’t help but to think of the Miami Dolphins NFL team as soon as I saw the vibrant design and color combo.
There is an elasticized band that runs through the outsole so that the more force applied, the more spring it returns. Other cool features include a lightweight mesh upper to provide breathability, moveCELL designation for flexibility and adaptation, and outsole flex grooves to support side-to-side movement.
I haven’t been able to get into the gym as much as normal since I am currently training for a half marathon. Even so, I strength train at least once a week and recently sported this look while going through some of the essential strength exercises for runners via Runner’s World at home.

I love that article and would suggest anyone who does a decent amount of running to give it a read! It highlights ten exercises and major muscle groups that are important for runners to utilize and keep strong.
I am a firm believer in some form of strength training at least once a week while training for long distance races, and will keep these moves in mind when completing workouts on those designated days.

Thanks for the reminder, Runner’s World!
The Gym Tank 3 features LYCRA SPORT material for recovery power, fit, and freedom of movement. There is a built-in shelf bra, mesh inserts to keep you cool, and a sexy criss cross strap back design.
The Gym 3/4 Tight is ideal for any type of training, including running, HIIT, barre, and Pilates. I love the tight fit, but not too tight feeling of the elastic waistband with an interior drawstring. Just like the tank, there are mesh inserts for flexibility of movement that adds to the overall comfort.
Over the past couple of weeks, I have been rocking pieces from both of the looks sent to me. Together, separate, to the gym, at the gym, and even to dance practice, both looks are extremely versatile.
The Fashion Comfort Look is designed to wear to and from the gym.
Even though they were made as more of a runaround pre and post-workout clothing item, you could still wear the Studio Capsule Pant to workout in if you’d like.
They are super comfortable and designed with dryCELL moisture wicking material. I love the wide elastic and drawstring at the top as well as the look of the cuffs at the bottom.
The Narita V2 doubles as a lightweight running shoe as well as a comfortable, stylish sneaker. It features EverRide blown rubber outsoles for extra cushioning and EverTrack high abrasion resistant rubber for durability in the high wear areas. I love the mint and coral options as well!
While I wouldn’t necessarily throw these on for a run, I like that they have the capability to get me through speed and agility exercises.
The Gym Loose Tank is sassy with an open back design. Made for layering, it is a stylish alternative to the standard tank top with a bio-based sweat wicking material to keep you cool, dry and comfortable.
I put this outfit on after a workout and felt like I was in sweats for the remainder of the day… only a lot cuter.
The fashion in fitness gear has certainly come a long way! As someone who works from home and hopes to further a career in the fitness industry, I am very grateful that my options of acceptable attire has grown into much more than oversized t-shirts and Soffe cheerleading shorts.
More than anything, you can find me in something similar to either outfit above on any given day. From group fitness classes and running errands around town to a neighborhood run or night in, I absolutely adore the bright colors, prints, and comfort brands like PUMA are putting out there.
Thank you for allowing me to test out your gear!

This is a high-quality review … love what you’ve done here. And I basically live in gym clothes, so I need a little bit of both fitness comfort and performance. These looks are cute, but I think your high-bun is taking a little bit of attention away from the clothes. LOVE!
Thank you! And ha, the high bun is definitely what my hair is like most of the time these days!
I LOVE cross back tank tops! Where did you get yours? Also, was this out in your front yard? I usually lay my mat out in the basement.
Both tanks are PUMA! Yes, this was my front yard. I’m pretty sure my neighbors officially think I’m crazy. 😉
I love the colors of these outfits. Super cute!
Great review! I love how fashion and fitness are coming together and there are so many more cute looks available. Even the sneakers are going to whole new level. These clothes look adorable – the aqua tank and printed leggings are my fave. 🙂
I’m all about performance that looks cute!! I’ve bought one too many pairs of pants or shorts that look cute but I constantly have to pull up/adjust when performing jumping exercises. So, now I know to perform some jumps in the fitting room to see if they pass the jump test.
I love the first outfit you reviewed – cut, color, etc.
Hey, whatever works right? Thanks!
Super cute outfits! Are the 3/4 length tights a decent thickness? I’m looking for something to run in during the fall and those are super cute!
Thanks! They aren’t see-through, if that’s what you’re asking. 😉 I actually ran in them the other day. I love how they feel but need to remember to tighten the elastic in the waist next time!
I really love the colours of the Mobium XT runners!
Me too 🙂
