Happy Thursday! I hope yours is off to a wonderful start. Mine is a-rockin’!
I am actually coming to you from the lounge of a Lexus dealership. I had a minor parking lot fender bender a few weeks back (which, for the record, was not my fault!), and I am here to finally get an estimate of the damage.
Regardless of who’s fault it was, I am dreading the call of collecting insurance information and all that jazz. It’s just so awkward.
But enough about that!
Today I wanted to share some of the songs that have been helping me truck along my workouts and runs this summer. I don’t know about you, but there’s something about a fresh batch of up-tempo music that helps my motivation factor to get out there and break a sweat.
Summer seems to be the time for a lot of new music to hit the radio, so I also have additional songs started on another summer playlist ready to go. For now, let’s just stick with Part I!
Summer 2013 Running + Workout Playlist
As usual, I chose a slower song for the last track to allow you time to incorporate a good cool down and stretch.

In the past, I have shared all of my songs on playlist.com, to give you full previews of them. It was a free tool anyone could use and even enabled me to build a widget for you to give it a listen right here on the blog.
I guess it was too good to be true, because when I went online to put this one together I discovered the entire site changed. I cannot find any way to create a new play list, or to even listen to any of my previous ones online. Bummer!
Do any of you know a free website that allows you to create, listen and share playlists online?

Before leaving the house this morning, I had a colorful breakfast worth mentioning.
I woke up craving eggs. I actually wanted them last night, but didn’t feel like making anything when I got home at close to 10 p.m. So, this morning an egg white scramble using Al Fresco County Style Breafast Chicken Sausage, spinach, and red & yellow tomatoes was calling my name.
Oh, I doused it in freshly grounded pepper too. (Doing so is pretty much a given, just like downing a ginormous cup of coffee.)
I would share lunch with you, but I am holding off to eat until I get home from the dealership. Should be leaving any minute now!
I am, however, very excited for dinner. I have no idea where it will be, but it is going to be a special one.
Tonight Scott and I are celebrating our 2 Year Wedding Anniversary! The actual date is not until Monday (the 22nd), but that also coincides with my auditions andddd Scott will be out of town. When we found out Gavin DeGraw was coming in town this week, we saw it as an opportunity to celebrate our anniversary early and make a night out of it!
So pumped and can’t wait to share stories with you tomorrow!
