Hey everybody! I hope your Thursday has started off on a great note.
As I finally make my way through the wedding photos from the weekend, I am excited to share them with you later today! But for now, let’s talk about the snow melting. Also known as… mud city in our yard.
While there are plenty of roads and sidewalks to take Mr. Roadie out, he – of course – instead prefers “his usual spot” to do his business. It was fine during the winter, since everything was covered in several inches and piles of snow, but now those piles have turned into slush and mud.
Let’s be clear though… I am not complaining. I will take warmer temperatures with mud over freezing temperatures with ice any day! But, until further notice, just call me Swamp Thing in the mornings until we see actual grass again.
Breakfast
Using up some chopped peppers from yesterday’s salad, I got the idea for a pretty tasty egg white scramble for breakfast!
Egg whites, Cajun turkey, red, green and yellow peppers, and feta scrambled and topped in ground pepper.
It was yummy!
My workout plans for the day includes a trip to the gym for Fitness Pilates class, and quite possibly a short run with Roadie outside this afternoon. If it warms up a little. We’ll see.
All right, I guess that’s it for now. See you all later today with a fun wedding recap!

At least you have some super cute rain boots to make up for the mud! Your veggie scramble looks delicious!
Ha, that thought actually ran through my head as I made my way through the squishy ground. Thanks!
That breakfast looks delicious!!
It’s definitely one I plan on repeating soon! 😉
Love the rainboots!
Thank you, they were a gift from my mother-in-law for Christmas. I love them!
