The following post is sponsored by FitFluential LLC on behalf of Neon Dash.
Scott and I always talk about wanting to do more fun runs. Last summer, we were able to get foamy, muddy, and drenched in two of them, and I am excited to add bright and neon splashed to that list very soon!
The Neon Dash 5K is a fun color run, but different from the rest I’ve seen because it takes place at night. You start the run off wearing white, and cross the finish line looking like an obnoxious neon bright light.
I mean… it pretty much has Scott and I’s names written all over it.
Mainly because we’re obnoxious and wear neon a lot.
The greatest part about doing fun runs is that anyone can participate in them. You don’t have to be a runner, and for many people a run like this becomes their very first 5K!
This one is family and stroller-friendly, and a perfect event for fun costumes including tutus, crazy socks, neon accessories, and anything that lights up or blinks.
We have plenty of that kind of nonsense ready in our closets (thanks to my husband), but if you are in need of this kind of 80s flash mob attire it can be purchased on he Neon Dash website here.
The Neon Dash series has 5K races all over the United States and will be coming to the following cities:
• May 31 – Columbus, OH (<- woot!)
• June 7 – St. Louis, MO
• June 21 – Indianapolis, IN
• July 12 – San Diego, CA
• August 9 – Denver, CO
• August 16 – Portland, OR
• August 23 – Kansas City, MO
• September 13 – Austin, TX
• September 20 – Dallas, TX
• September 26 – Los Angeles, CA
• October 11 – Atlanta, GA
• November 1 – Sacramento, CA
*And more locations coming soon!
If you would like to register for this event, make sure to take advantage of the FitFluential discount. Simply use the promo code FIT to save $7 off any registration for any upcoming event.
I’ll be sure to check back in after we participate in the color fest and am crossing my fingers that our photos turn out half as cool as the ones included in this post that I borrowed from their website. Party (run) on!
Question of the Afternoon

(Mud, color, foam, water runs, etc.)
If so, I invite you to share your experience below in the comments section!

Sounds like a super fun time! Looks like I just barely missed the one in Phoenix in April. I LOVE fun runs like this. I did The Color Run last year along with a Hit & Run 5k. Both were a blast!

Bummer! Maybe next year!

When I click on the link there is a “green dot” in Minnesota but I don’t see any location listed?? 🙁
Heather
That probably means there is a location coming to that area sometime soon, but hasn’t been officially announced yet. I would keep an eye out for it! 🙂

That sounds like so much fun! I hope it comes to the Boston area!

I think a night race is such a great way to switch it up. I volunteered at a color run and it was such a fun event! Have fun 🙂

I’ve always wanted to do a color run. This one is like the ultimate NEON bright color run! 😉
