Hello strangers!
Wow, what a week it’s been! If you’ve been following LIL on Instagram, Snapchat (lifenleggings), Facebook, or Twitter, then you already know what we’ve been up to in Florida. Working the Invictus Games 2016 in Orlando was a truly incredible experience that will be hard to top.
I can’t wait to share more pictures and stories with you, but for now I’m just popping in with a quick link for this week’s Friday Favorites link-up! I apologize for going missing on the blog. I didn’t plan to take the entire week, but there wasn’t any possible way that I could have kept checking in and kept sane at the same time, so I took all of my free time to rest.

Friday Favorites #141: Week of 5/13
I don’t have much time to dive into what made me smile this week, but if I had to sum it all up with one photo, it would be this.
Our team of Invictus Dancers were able to take pictures and chat with the relentless soldiers on the USA Wheelchair Rugby team. They have served our country in the most honorable way and thanked us for what we were doing for them throughout the week. I was completely humbled, and it will be difficult for me to put all of my emotions into words as I go on to explain the games on the blog next week!
I’ve got to run and enjoy my last few days in Orlando, but I wish you all a great weekend.

Skyler did great walking into KINDERGARTEN with a big smile on his face this morning. I, however, was a bit of a mess on our walk home. 🥹
It’s wild how fast these 5 years with him have gone … 7 since we moved to NYC and into our apartment, dreaming of the day our kids would someday go to the *awesome* school right down our block. 🏫
That day is today, and I still don’t believe it — feeling allll of the emotions and thanking God for placing us here and for being able to trust His timing through the journey. 🫶🏼 #hbshinnyc

I’ve been LOVING the pictures you have posted from Invictus Games — sounds like a truly moving event to be a part of. Enjoy the rest of your time in Orlando. (P.S. One of my Orlando girlfriends is visiting me this weekend in the Bay!)
