Hello, hello! I have something very fun to share with you this afternoon, and I am kind of surprised it already all came together.
Back in November, I debuted a How I Curl My Hair tutorial, and I got great feedback on it. In that video, I demonstrated how to go around the barrel of a curling iron or wand, along with my techniques of how to create tight curls vs. loose curls.
Since then, I have received several requests to share how I scrunch and tight curl my hair, so I am here to deliver!
First things first, let me throw it out there that I was born with naturally curly hair. Well, kind of curly. Without styling it, it air dries somewhere in between curly and frizzy, and it’s not cute.
I am certainly not one of those people who can shower and get on with my day while letting my hair air dry, so I always have to style it. Some days I go straight, while others I go curly.
Most recently, I have been rocking the scrunched curl look, and I have received a lot of compliments on it. To be honest, it isn’t any harder or more time consuming than styling my hair in any other way. Just different.
To help show you my ways, I filmed a video with me going through the process of getting ready. It begins with me right out of the shower and ends with me ready to get out the door.
I have edited and cropped it down to under ten minutes to spare you the boredom. I hope this helps!

Thank you so much for tuning into my video! If you watched it until the end, then you know another one is on it’s way that will show you how to make this hairstyle last for a couple of days.
Because who really washes their hair every day anymore?
(I won’t tell if you don’t!)
As always, please feel free to share questions and comments below.
See you back here tomorrow morning with this week’s Friday Favorites!

Curly hair looks so good on you! My hair is so fine and I don’t have much of it, so it always looks stringy, when curled. Ugh.
Heather
Thanks! Have you tried diffusing it first?
