Hi friends! How has the week been going on your end?
Things are a little crazy over here. It’s Wednesday, right? I honestly couldn’t tell you, as the days are starting to blend together for me. Since we last chatted, I traveled to Miami, attended an action-packed conference all weekend, returned home late-Sunday, worked, took Roadie to the vets to treat his back paw (it’s irritated but healing!), slept (barely), worked, hosted an outdoor workout, thought about no less than ten posts that I wanted to share with you, and here we are.
The studio sure is keeping me on my toes! Our “soft” opening is less than two months away, and I am in the midst of hosting one to two events per week while expanding our sales and training team! (NYC/Brooklyn locals who have a passion for Orangetheory Fitness – holler!)
Anyways, today I wanted to share my latest workout playlist that keeps me moving (and quite possibly dancing). I’ve been loving it on runs, during workouts, and even in the mornings when I need a little wake-me-up music to go with my coffee.
If you have been following the blog for a bit (thank you!), then you already know I am a lover of a variety of music. You can always check out what I’ve been listening to by viewing my Spotify profile, and I usually share my favorite workout music right here on the blog every season.
I hope you enjoy the tunes I’m loving this fall!
(Listen and even download this playlist — and a few extras — here!)
I love slowing down, stretching, and reflecting on what I just accomplished. Per usual, I ended the list with a slower track to encourage you to cool down at the end. (I didn’t include it on the stream link.)
If you don’t have an upgraded membership, it plays the songs in shuffle mode, but I chose Something Worth Saving off of Gavin DeGraw’s new album as this playlists cool down track because … Gavin DeGraw.

Questions of the Day
• What kind of music do you like to listen to while running or working out?
• Favorite jam right now — GO!
I am usually a sucker for what is currently popular on the radio. I am also a huge fan of 80s music! Whenever I have a long day at the computer ahead of me, I often find myself jamming to the Best of the 80s Reloaded Pandora station. So good!

Music is such a huge part of the workout for me! I’m actually taking my first OTF class tonight and I’m a little nervous. I’m still on antibiotics for my bronchitis, so here’s hoping I can keep up haha.

Right? I totally agree! Ahh, don’t be nervous! I can see how it might be intimidating to the outside eye, but you will be just fine. Believe it or not, OTF workouts are structured for all fitness levels. You can walk, jog, or run on the treadmills and modify/advance movements on the floor. It’s all at your own pace! I hope you love it!
Jenessa
Hello! I live in Park Slope and would be interested in any upcoming Orange Theory events!
Heather
Hi Jenessa!! That’s awesome – I’ll send over an email with more info tonight. Hope to see you soon!

You listed a number of tracks I’m also loving right now but I also just discovered “Sax” by Fleur East and I.am.obsessed. I listened to it almost on repeat last night during my run LOL I can’t believe I only just came across it!!
Heather
Ohhhh I’ll have to check that out — thanks for sharing!
